I look back to the front when I hear my name. My brother and Fernanda enter the hallway with a big grin. But that grin instantly disappears when they see who's behind me.

"Surprise!" I say awkwardly making small jazz hands.

Ace POV

"Anna have you thought this through? What if he tries anything? He could hurt Sky." Fernanda, Alex's wife, accuses.

After they entered the hallway, Anna sent the little girl to her room and brought us to her office to talk about the situation with them. We are sitting on some couches, Anna beside me and the other two in front of us. They are talking about me like I'm not sitting here.

When Fernanda tries to continue her ridiculous fantasies I beat her to it and speak my mind. "First of all, I would never hurt you or any kids. Even if Anna is my enemy I wouldn't dare to use her family against her. Trust me. I could hurt you. But I won't. And second, we made a deal. And I will keep that as long as you don't break it or annoy me too much with your stupid assumptions." I bring it straight forward in a stern tone.

"We didn't really make a deal." Anna mutters.

"Shut up." I snap at her.

"Don't talk to my sister like that."

I let out a humorless laugh.

I completely ignore him and bring my attention on Anna. "I would like to go to my room now."

I stand up as Anna sighs and stand up, too. She starts walking out of the office and down some halls. We walk up some stairs to the second floor and turn right and walk along a hallway. It doesn't have many doors but the hallway is still pretty long, meaning the rooms must be pretty big.

We stop by the end of the hall.

"This is your room. Mine is this one." She points to the door on our left, right beside mine. "Just so you know, the walls are not pretty thick, so if you decide to jerk off at the thought of me make sure you keep quiet."

I scoff. "Yeah, sure."

She winks before walking away. I rolls my eyes and open the door, revealing a pretty big room, just like I guessed. On the right there are floor to ceiling windows and a desk right in front of it. The walls are painted in grey and to the right there is a king sized bed with black satin covers. In the middle are two doors, and I'm guessing they lead to a walk-in closet and a bathroom. There is a big chandelier on the ceiling and a few bookshelves, filled with philosophy books as well as some fantasies and medicine books. Interesting.

When I walk into the closet I see my luggage already there. I am not in the mood to unpack anything. I need to buy some new clothes if we stay here longer. I don't have enough and it's winter so I'll need some more warm clothes.

I go to the bathroom and turn on the hot water for a shower, letting it run a bit.

The bathroom is in all grey and white pattern. It's not small but it's not big either.
