Hospital

Jaune took a transport and went straight to the hospital where his girlfriend is at with Red. Jaune is trying to calm down but the thought of his girlfriend and his children are in danger keeps making him panic. Red tries his best to calm his commander down but is proved futile so he just gives up

Red: Sir please calm. The captain wouldn't want to see you so panic

Jaune: I can't if the love of my life and my kids are in danger. Speaking of kids, where are they? Are they okay?

Red: They are at the hospital as well sir

Jaune: That's good. If anything happens to them, I have failed to be someone they have trusted

Red: You're over thinking it sir, I'm sure they don't think you like that

Jaune: Hopefully

Jaune pulls out his communicator and calls Razor. Shortly after, Razor hologram appears

Razor: You called sir

Jaune: Razor have General Ironwood and Winter Schnee detained and sent to my office. As for the rest, escorts them to my office as well. And rally the troops for a counter attack

Razor salutes

Razor: Yes sir!

He turns off his comms as the transport stops

Red: We're going to war with Atlas sir?

Jaune: You bet your ass we're going to war. But first we need to check on the civilian first

Red nodded wanting to have his revenge on attacking the city. The door opens and they both stepped out. The speed walk to the entrance and enters. They passed many people ranging from clones, humans and fanaus who are being treated. People make way for them since word got out about Captain Y/N being injured. They walk up to the front desk as the woman immediately recognised them

Woman: Room 325 sir

Jaune: Thank you

They walk in the elevator and press the 3rd floor. By the minute, Jaune is nervous but took a deep breath. The door opens and they both got out. They search for Y/N's room and found it being guarded by Wrecker. He spotted them and wave them over. They walk up to them

Wrecker: Sir it's good to see you again. The captain is in there after going through surgery

This caught Jaune attention

Jaune: Is everything alright with her?

Wrecker went silent as Jaune is uneasy by every second. Wrecker sigh deeply and look down

Wrecker: A squad of Atlas troops raided into the building. Amber was outside getting some babies need so it's just only captain and the other two. When Atlas raids the room, she hid the kids in her room and grab her dual pistols to fought back. She manages to kills 7 of them but one got a lucky shot to her stomach. Amber and I arrives a few seconds later and kills the rest. We got her to the hospital as fast as we can...

Jaune is now crying when Wrecker finished

Wrecker: I-I'm sorry commander

Jaune wipes his tears and took a deep breath

Jaune: Y-You haven't answered my question

Wrecker:...I think it's best you found out for yourself

He gives Jaune to enter. Jaune opens the door with shaking hands and saw something heartbroken. His girlfriend laying on the hospital bed with wires strap to her and his children are crying next to her. Y/N is rubbing there heads but Jaune can see her red eyes. Y/N heard the door open look to see her boyfriend standing there. She tries to stop crying again as Jaune approaches them. He took off his helmet and put it on a table next to her bed. He grab Y/N's hand

Jaune: Babe, I-I'm sorry for not being there for you

You: It's o-okay my love b-but...

Jaune: What is it?

Y/N took deep breath

You: J-Jaune our b-baby...

She starts crying since she couldn't say it but Jaune understands and was crying as well. He hugs his girlfriend as Y/N hug him tightly and cries on his shoulder. Jaune cries in sadness at the news of his unborn child didn't make it. Their children all hug them as they all cry together. Wrecker and Red look at them in sadness before shutting the door to give them privacy
