Chapter 8: Sasuke's Plan

"It's been hours! Where have you two been!?"

Kabuto asks while glaring at us. Sasuke takes a step forward.

"I challenged Lily to a fight.."

"And I kinda knocked him out."

I finish and Sasuke glares at me.

"Why did you have to tell him that part?"

Sasuke hissed. I glare back.

"Because that's what took us forever! Maybe if you weren't so weak, this wouldn't have happened!"

"Why you..."

"Calm down, both of you!"

Kabuto yells. We stop glaring at each other and we look at him.

*Sigh* "Why can't you two ever get along?"

"'Cause he's a weak jerk."

"And she's a stuck-up brat."

We start glaring at each other again.

"Enough! Both of you go get something to eat. I just brought more food for you two."

We stop glaring and shrug our shoulders.

"Fine."

We both say then we walk away from Kabuto.

"Nice acting back there, Lily."

Sasuke tells me as we walk into the kitchen.

"Thanks. You weren't half bad yourself."

"Yeah, yeah."

We both smirk as we start eating.

(Sasuke's P.O.V)

I'm glad that I have Lily on my side. Now I can set my plan in motion.

"So where are you thinking on having me spy at?"

Lily asks then takes a bite of her ramen.

"In the Hidden Cloud. I want their Kage to trust you. That way we can get info on the Akatsuki."

"Wouldn't the Hidden Leaf be better? I mean, they know more about the Akatsuki then anyone."

"That's true, but I don't want anything to do with the Hidden Leaf. You'll go to the Hidden Cloud."

"Is it because you don't want to hurt your friends by me spying on them?"

"N-no! That's not it."

'Man, she's good at that. She's can always see through my act.'

Lily rolls her eyes.

"Yeah, yeah whatever you say... I'll go to the Cloud."

"Will it be hard for you?"

"Nope, not a bit! I just need to find something before I can go."

"What is it?"

"It's called the Hana Mirror and it has the power to take someone's chakra, skills, and personality then reflect it into another. Also, it can create clones one that same person so no one can tell that it's a fake."

"That sounds handy. What does it look like?"

"It's a golden square that can open. It has a silver bow engraved on it and it's only two inches long so it can fit in a pocket. And it also has a dark blue cloth case to keep it's power sealed."

'Golden square? Wait, I think I've seen it before...'

(Flashback)

"Sasuke! Itachi! It's good to see you again!"

Granny Cat says to my brother and I as we walk into her shop.

"It's good to see you too, Granny Cat. How have you been?"

Itachi asks.

"I'm doing fine.Now what are you two doing here all by yourself?"

"Mother and Father had asked us to get some stuff for them because they're busy!"

I say while petting a kitten.

"Very well, what do you need?"

Itachi hands her a piece of paper.

"Everything is on this."

Granny takes it and looks at what is on it.

"Alright, I have everything in the back. Itachi, will you help me get them?"

"Sure."

She smiles.

"Sasuke, you stay here and play with the cats, alright?"

"Alright!"

They nod then go to the back. I played with the cats until I see something shiny reflecting into my eyes. I walk over to it and pick it up.

"What's this?"

I look at the golden square that has a silver bow engraved on it. I was about to open the it when I hear Granny Cat.

"Sasuke, put that down right now!"

I look at her.

"Why what is it?"

"It's called the Hana Mirror and if you open it, you might get sucked into it."

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't mean to."

"Don't worry about it, alright. We'd better put it back in it case to keep it sealed."

She picks up the dark blue case and put the mirror into the case.

"Granny Cat, do you think I can have it when I get older?"

"Of course you can, sweety. I'll hold on to it for you until then. Sound good?"

"Yeah!"

(End Of Flashback)

'So Granny Cat has it, huh?'

I snap out of my thoughts when I see a hand waving in front of my face.

"Earth to Sasuke. Are you there?"

Lily says as I grab her hand.

"What?"

"You just spaced out when I was talking to you."

"Oh sorry. I think I know where the mirror is."

"You do!? Where is it?"

"A store that my clan used to use."

"Great! Now we have everything we need!"

"Almost. We still don't have the others on our side yet."

"Good point. But I'm sure they'll join."

We finish eating our ramen that Lily made. Lily starts washing the dishes while I clean off the table.

"When do you think you're gonna do it?"

Lily asks as we walk into our room.

"I'm not sure, but it won't be much longer."

"Alright."

I get into the bed in our room.

"Well I'm going to sleep."

"Have fun with that, Sasuke."

"I will!"

I hear Lily laugh a little as she blows out the candles and gets into the bed.

"Night, Sasuke."

"Night, Lily."

I close my eyes and fall asleep.
