Ch.26 "giving up"

                      Dream

I felt the warmth of the sun on my face my hands linked behind my head I felt the soft ground underneath me..

I slowly open my eyes the blue sky and fluffy white clouds in the sky..

I look to see I am in a field of sunflowers.

I slowly sit up.

I hear a crunching noise coming from behind me.

So I followed the noises.

I eventually come to the ending of the field and as I part the stalks of sunflower. I see someone with their back to me looking out at the water.

Miles of ocean.

I couldn't tell who it was the sun was so bright.

I slowly approached them as I got closer I knew exactly who it was.

"Kai...." I said

Slowly he turned around.

"Hello gorgeous." He said smirking

I stood there completely stunned

"What speechless?? That's the first " he said smiling at me as he chuckled

He slowly walked towards me.

"What are you doing here gorgeous?" He said tucking some of my hair behind my ear

"Me? What are you doing here?" I said

"I don't know something pulled me here. And it felt right." He said

Suddenly before I knew what I was doing I was hugging him.

He chuckled petting my hair as we hugged.

"Missed me huh" he said

"You have know idea." He chuckled

"Didn't take you for the touchy-feely type." He said

"Normally I'm not. But you don't know how precious that is until it's gone." I said

"Will you stay with me??" I asked hugging him tighter as my voice cracked

"You know the answer to that gorgeous." He said

                        End dream

My eyes slowly flutter open I laid on the hard cement floor.

My head in between my paws I've been in here for days.

Trying to pull back the coyote is proving more challenging then the last time.

I hear two sets of foot steps.

I listen in as they walked towards the cell.

"I'm growing concerned Niklaus. She hasn't eaten. Drank or even moved in days." I hear Elijah

" I know. I've noticed as well." I hear Nik

"We need a different tactic." I hear Kol come out of nowhere

I see all three of the peek in looking at me,

My ears hug my head and I don't make any attempts to move.

True fully I've given up.

What's the point anymore. I thought

I see Nik looking right into my eyes. His eyes flashed yellow mine glow I can feel it.

Due to him being my alpha he feels what I feel emotionally of course.

And if he really wants to he can hear my thoughts and I can hear his.

His eyes widen knowing full well what I was thinking.

"What is it Niklaus??" Elijah asked

"She's given up.." Nik said in shock

They all looked at me stunned. Of course they are I'm never one to give up no matter what but I guess you could say this time I have.
