he sighed. "i know." he gently kissed her lips. "but i'm not letting her come near you."

"tay!" lydia called. "help me with the radio, please!"

tay sighed and walked over, taking the chair next to lydia, who scooted over to give her room. she started messing with the controls.

"are they jamming that too?" quinn asked.

"it's not easy to find a jammer capable of disrupting a law enforcement transceiver." lydia shook her head.

"yeah, you'd have to be in law enforcement yourself to have access of one," tay added, pausing and sharing a look with lydia after.

lydia turned, looking between all of the deputies.

"quinn, didn't you say a deputy shot you?" tay asked.

she nodded.

"lydia..."

"yeah."

"someone in here," quinn realized.

the power then went out.

"that can't be good."

"it's never good," tay mumbled. "why is it always either the school, station, woods, or hospital that this shit happens in?"

"how easy is it to cut the power in a sheriff's station?" malia asked after noah had to call morrow away from the window.

"too easy," vargas spoke, throwing nolan onto the floor.

tay got up with a glare, storming over to him. "of fucking course."

"throw him out," liam demanded, moving over to tay to pull her away from him.

"no, you can't. ok?" nolan stammered.

"why the hell not?" tay scowled.

"please don't," he begged. "they'll know i screwed up."

"he's with them," liam urged.

"he beat the shit out of liam!" tay added.

"guys," scott spoke.

"wait, he what?" isaac asked.

"at school," tay exclaimed. "he and gabe, they beat the shit out of us."

"you?" isaac raised his eyebrows.

"yeah, us."

"he hit you?"

"gabe hit me, he tried to."

"he had an involvement of you being hit? is that why you have those-"

"yes."

isaac growled.

scott grabbed his hand. "guys!"

"hold on, two kids fought you?" theo spoke up, glaring at nolan. "and he's one of them?"

"yeah." tay nodded. "iv'e said that about six times already."

theo and isaac shared a look.

"sheriff?"

"he's a liar and he's sick in the head," liam spat.

"and now he's under arrest," noah decided. "lock him up."

nolan was brought to the cells.

liam went to go after nolan with tay but theo brought liam to another room, telling tay to stay there.
