After running away from his home in England, kyo gilgamesh arrives in the town of kuoh,Japan to attend the newly coed, kuoh academy only to get wrapped up in the supernatural
It has been a week since the events of last chapter, since then the manga club eventually just kept having their meetings at kyo's house instead of the clubroom with each meeting turning into a movie night or a party.
Currently it was about 2:40 in the morning specifically a Saturday morning When kyo had received a call from a certain mongrel
Kyo's phone - BRRRIIIIINNNNG
Kyo - *checks caller ID* goddammit
Kyo - *picks up the phone* mongrel, do you realize what time it is

While at the church we see the group growing impatient Kiba is tapping his foot, koneko is snacking on chocolate cookies, and issei is reading a playboy mag for shits and gigs when kyo finally pulls up looking fresh in his fit
Issei - *closes mag* took you long enough
Kyo - I'm sorry you said church so I dressed accordingly
Koneko - you do realize this is a kill mission right
Kyo -of course! Gotta look your best at a funeral but seeing as we're probably out numbered, let's even things up
Suddenly a large gate opens beside kyo and out walks several knights in white armor

Kyo - yes and no, have you've ever seen Fullmetal alchemist?
Issei - somewhat
Kyo - well picture Alphonse but a lot older these were the original babylon weilders royal guards but were kept as souls in Armour to serve future weilders
Koneko - so you have knights that are thousands of years old as your personal guards
Kyo - yup and the gate keeps them in their prime and restores any damage done to them
Issei - so cool!!
As issei says this one of the knights presents a sword in a sheath with only the handle visible
Issei - what is that
Kyo - something I treasure at it's highest measure, within this sword resides the soul of a holy dragon which controls time
