"So... you're a...?"

"Robot." I finish Kendra's sentence. Having told the team what really happened when I died, and how we all have level 8 clearance now, they have a lot of questions.

"What about your family? Don't they miss you?" Carlee.

"How were they really going to do fake your death?" Dustin.

"What do you really look like?" Kendra.

"Guys shut up, he probably knows as much as us." Sara.

"What about school and friends?" Percey.

"What were you really like back then?" Dilan.

"Was there ever a girrrrrllll before?" Geoffrey. Emphasis on 'girl'.

"One at a time. Carlee, my family doesn't miss me. They treated me like dirt. The only person who ever knew I was there was my older brother, Drake. And he died in a "car crash". The guy that blew his tires is... slightly... mangled. At the moment." I start.

"I don't know Dustin. I was going to find out when it worked, but obviously it didn't.

Kendra I really look just like this. Don't test that theory, I'm actually buried in some cemetery somewhere. But I had to look the same to make their story believable." I explain.

"I could probably have skipped three grades in school but my parents wouldn't let me. And I had no friends. That's why I'm here. Here I have a much better family, and way more friends. I have you guys. What more could a guy ask for?" This gets a reaction from the group and Geoffrey walks up and gives me a great big hug, teasing me about being a sap.

"Geoffrey, I'd like to take this time to mention that there has never been anyone but you." I smile at him, playimg along with his joke. He stands and quickly walks back to his seat.

"And I have been like this my whole life. Handsome, brilliant, cunning, a natural born leader." I say, making an ass of myself.

"That's not quite what I meant, but ok Olly, ok." Dilan smiles his charming and Sara teases. "You've never been like Geoffrey."

"Man Cap. You're pretty calm for being a dead guy. You don't find it even slightly odd that your real body is six feet below ground and the whole world thinks you're dead?" Carlee asks.

"Yes Carlee, that would be my uncanny ability to remain calm that is presenting itself. I mean I was prepared to be dead anyway. My unparalleled strength and speed are a mere bonus." I answer.

"What about adding to that? If I talk to Lamarr I may be able to hook you up to the internet and give you abilities similar to Data, from Star Trek, The Next Generation." Dustin offers.

"That would be handy. I could also then comunicate with Percey directly, no need for a microphone or earpiece. That would make undercover ops easier." I add. Dustin is so excited that he runs off right then.

"Well, I think I'm going to the rec area to play a game of tennis. Who's coming?" I offer.

Sara, Geoffrey and Carlee volunteer. Kendra decides to follow and watch. Dilan goes to talk to Thornbury and Percey has some pressing matter to attend to so she wanders off.

We get to the court and play a game, Carlee and I win of course. We decided to play again, this time Geoffrey switches with Kendra and the game gets more intense. At the end Kendra and Sara win, but not by much.

Everyone goes back to their quarters to wash up after the game, leaving Kendra and me alone. "Sorry about your hand. I'm glad it worked out in the end though."

"Don't worry about it. I've had worse." I begin. Geoffrey, who forgot his jacket comes back and hears me. He yells, "you liar!" Another Monty Python reference.

When he leaves again I say, "Besides, now that you shot me I know a whole lot more about myself than before. So no appology necessary. In fact I should thank you."

"Thank me!? You must be crazier than I thought!"

"Appologizing, now that's wierd."

After a pause, "So your family, what were they like? If it's not too personal that is."

"Gloomy. Mom put on a happy face when I was around but it was obviously a facade. Being an agent you learn to tell. Dad was a jerk. He'd smack me around for the fun of it. Initially I just cried but he and my sister kust laughed. Finally my older brother was around when he did it and stood up for me. Dad was the only guy I knew who could beat Drake in a fight. And he beat him, a lot.

After joining the agency, and after Drake died, I knew some stuff about combat. Finally he walked up one day and before I knew it he was down, I had broken his nose and his arm. He was out cold when we got to the hospital and Mom said he had been hit by a car. A week later I died."

"That sounds terrible, I'm sorry."

"Don't be. If not for them I wouldn't be here to meet a beautiful girl like you." I say with a smile. "You know there's a song to describe the whole situation. Most people would expect it to be a Beatles song if the knew me, really it's the theme song to a show I watch. The first verse goes like this."
