𝟑𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥

"As you wish." He answered and she took the bear from the couch and they both walked out of the suite.

They met Charles and Bayo in the lobby drinking coffee and discussing with each other. They gave the couples a questioning look as they approached them.

"What kind of bear is this Lola?" Bayo asked after exchanging pleasantries. He gave Demilade a questioning glance and the latter just smiled.

"This is my new gift." All eyes went to Demilade at Lola's response. "It's cute, right?"

The two men looked at each other and they tried suppressing a laugh before they nodded, looking at Demilade.

"Of course. But isn't it too big?" Charles asked and Bayo nodded in support and they stared at the big teddy bear that she was struggling to hold with one hand.

"She likes it that way," Demilade answered them.

"Honey, you're here. Joan wanted to talk to you." Helen said walking towards them. Bayo rolled his eyes at his wife's statement. Their daughter was still learning how to talk so how was she going to talk to him? "Hi. Good morning." She smiled at the men while she walked over to her husband and kissed him shortly on the lips whispering good morning.

"Good morning Helen." Charles and Demilade chorused with a smile.

"Helen, good morning." Lola greeted and she turned to Lola. She gasped at the sight of the teddy bear.

"Good morning, dear." She replied Lola but her eyes were on the teddy in her hand. "Wow! This is so cute." She touched the bear in Lola's hand and the men looked at each other. This time Demilade was the one who tried to suppress a laugh while Charles stared unbelievably at Helen.

"Honey, I want one too." She said with a pout and puppy eye to her husband. Bayo has a look of  'Are you serious about that' on him. He was finding it hard to believe what his wife was saying. "Don't give me that look. I'm perfectly normal. I want one too. It's so cute and adorable." She smiled dreamily at the teddy in Lola's hand and Demilade smirked at Bayo while Charles took his cup of coffee to his lips to suppress his laughter. "We are definitely getting one honey."

"As your majesty wishes." Bayo gave up and took a large swallow from his cup of coffee his wife smiled back at him, kissing him on the cheek.

"You're the best." She said with a broad smile and Bayo nodded. "Are you two going out?"

"Yes. We will be back." Demilade answered. Charles smirked, looking at Lola who he was sure had no idea where her boyfriend is taking her. That was Demilade for you. He is unpredictable. "Help us tell the others."

"Okay. Have fun, Lola, dear." Lola blew her a kiss in reply while Helen giggled. Then she turned around and followed her boyfriend.

They got to the parking lot. There were several expensive cars parked in the lot and Demilade headed toward the one he had rented for the period of the vacation. A white guy was standing next to it. He greeted them both and he handed the keys to Demilade after saying something quietly to him.

"Thanks." She heard Demilade say to him and the guy nodded before walking away.

Lola moved into the first seat and sat with her teddy bear in hand. Demilade came in beside her and looked at the big teddy in her hand. He said nothing but closed the car door. He pressed some buttons in the car and the roof slid open. Lola smiled. It was the first time that he was opening the roof. He leaned over to the little space at the back and he took a hat and two sunglasses.

"Take." He gave her the hat and sunglasses.

"Thanks." She smiled at the sunglass. It was new and the design was unique. She didn't waste any time putting it on together with the hat.
