Afterward, they came over to his place later in the evening.

Although, he wasn't there an hour ago when he went to the gym. But he seems fully awake and was busy laughing at something he was watching on the television oblivious of his presence.

"Dan." He called. The young boy looked up from the television he was watching.

"Good morning." He greeted bowing slightly.

"Morning." He replied him. "How was your night?"

"It was good. And yours?" He asked politely.

"It was beautiful considering the wonderful dinner I had yesterday." He replied. Daniel chuckled.

"It was an honor that you sat with my family to eat dinner."

He waved it off. "It's nothing. I haven't had dinner with a full family in a long time. I should appreciate your family instead for the beautiful moment and dinner." And it was sincere.

It has been a long time since he has dinner with people - a whole family at that. So sitting together with his family was something he considered lucky and happy to have done. And he was glad they suggested it.

Daniel smiled gratefully.

"I'll let you continue with your movie." He said looking at the television to see the episode ending with the theme of The Witcher boldly written at the center of the screen. He shake his head and turned back to the boy. Like sister like a brother, he thought.

Demilade was already on his way when he remembered something. He went back to the middle of the living room.

Then he said. "Happy birthday Daniel." The boy was beyond shocked when he said the three words.

Demilade happened to be the second person to wish him a happy birthday. His mother was the first to wake him up to wish him a happy birthday and to say her prayers. And now, Demilade.

He does not even have an idea how he got to know that day was his birthday. But whatever way he got to know, he was so happy to hear him wish him for his birthday.

In the short while that he had to know Demilade, he felt proud to know him. He looked up to him as a semi God and it wasn't a lie. He have this natural admiration and love for him since the first night he spoke with him. Although he never told him nor does he tell his sister everything about how he felt about her boyfriend? But the man inspired him. He motivates him as a whole to become the best version of himself. He looked up to him as a role model and a big brother.

And hearing him wish him for his birthday was like you getting a moment with your favorite celebrity and getting his autograph.

It made him ecstatic.

Demilade could see the surprise and amazed expression on the boy as he stared at him with wide eyes. And he wondered why.

He doesn't understand why he was that way when he had just said three words that are said to almost everyone in the whole world on the day that they came to the world. There wasn't really anything special about the words.

Or was he surprised to know he knows about his birthday? He should know that it was his sister who told him about it. So he decided to let him know.

"Your sister told me your birthday is today. So you don't have to be surprised." The boy nodded, looking a bit flushed with embarrassment as he looked away. Demilade peered at him, then he said. "Come here," He gestured. Daniel turned back at him and he looked with wide eyes at Demilade's open arms. "C'mon, I'm not going to bite you." He urged him with a small smile on his face. The young man left his seat and he fell into his arms embracing him tightly, touched by his action. "Happy birthday Daniel. Wish you all the best. Long life and prosperity." Demilade said quietly as he hugged Daniel, stroking his back lightly.

Daniel nodded with a broad smile on his face, arms still wrapped around him, feeling more proud and elated than ever. He sniffled in and quickly brush his eyes and nose to prevent himself from crying.

Lola had left the twins who were busy looking for the clothes they would wear for an unplanned outing for that day. She came down the stairs to go see her brother. It was his birthday and she knew he would be awake. And she has to go with him for his birthday.

What she saw made her stop on her track and her lips curved into a smile.

To those of you shipping Fareed and Ada, I guess I have done a bit of justice to that. But note, you can't tell if anything might happen between them. I can still decide to turn things around because nothing is certain for now. But anyway, that is that for now.
