- We're all done, you can go home.
- I'll stay 10 more minutes to look something up.
- Alright, but don't take too long.
- Fine, good night Miller!
- Good night, Blake.

I waited for Miller to leave my office because I wanted to look up a crime that was just reported. I've heard that this case has a lot of missing pieces, making it very complicated, but I want to be the one who solves this case in order to prove Miller that I can be a better detective than him. I've been working here for a while, but he still doesn't seem to trust me enough. And, not that it would matter to me if he trusts me or not, but I want to be able to do my job without being treated like a toddler.

Apparently, a male helped this man kill his fiancee because he found her sex tapes with another man. The crime happened yesterday, unknown location. The killer's identity is unknown yet. The woman's fiance turned himself in today, without revealing the identity of his helper.

This piece of information is everything I could find about the case. I started packing my stuff then left my office.

The next morning I came earlier to work in order to do my research about the case again. In my office I found Miller, waiting for me, his gaze being focused straight on the door I just opened. He was sitting on my chair, moving left and right with a bit of a smile on the right corner of his mouth, which was pointing out his dimple.
- Are you sure you're in the right office?
- Is this your office?
- Yeah.
- Then yes, I'm in the right office.
- So I suppose you were waiting for me.
- Something like that.
He fixes his position, then goes:
- Next time, close the tabs on your computer before leaving the office if you want to keep secrets.

That's exactly what a perfect morning at work sounds like.

- I bet you're thinking "I wanna solve this case in order to prove Miller I'm better than him".
- Maybe, but that's not all I'm thinking right now.
- Do you want the case?
- Yes.
- I'm afraid that's not possible.

This man is getting on my damn nerves.

- And why is that? I think I deserve a chance to prove myself.
- Alright, let's make a deal. I'm letting you solve the case. Since it's a complicated case, especially for you, if you solve the case by yourself, I guess I'll stop annoying you.
- And what if I don't?
- Aren't you so sure that you're gonna solve it?
- You forgot I started working here a month ago or something like that?
- None of my business. Good luck! he says then he leaves the office.
Ugh, I hate him. I hate him so much. And no, I'm not new, but he's always joking about how I've worked here for "only a month" so "I can't be trusted with a case quite yet". I started working here almost a year ago. Now imagine how frustrating that is. Anyway, I'm happy I can finally solve a case by myself, without Miller. I'm gonna prove that I am a good detective.
I sat down on my chair, then started looking up more information about the case. Nothing. I couldn't find anything. No updates. I have to start interrogating people since I don't even know the place were all of this happened.

Okay, so, who can I interrogate? We have the identity of the man who was engaged to the woman. Well, I can also try to interrogate both of their families, and maybe even the guy who was on the sex tapes. Since he turned himself in, I don't know if there's many information I can get from him, but he's easy to acces since he's under arrest, so I'll start up with him. I mean, he knows the identity of the killer, but he won't tell.

I got the fiance of the woman in the interrogation room.
