She looked at Izuku raising her finger to her lips signaling him to not say anything to which he silently nodded in response. She then pressed the phone against her ear and spoke.
"Yes,..mom?" she queries in a tired tone already knowing what she's about to hear on the other side of the phone.
"Where are you??" The bittered voice asked.
"Relax and I told you, I'm just taking a walk and exploring a little bit-"
"You should've told me instead of leaving me here! Get home now!"
"I did but you just ignored me and I will but right now I'm helping someone and I think...I'll walk them-"
"I don't care who you're helping. Get home NOW. If you don't make it in 5 minutes, I won't let you leave the house anymore."
"B-but I think they-" The phone hung up before she could finish her sentence. She sighed again returning her phone to her pocket.
"I'm sorry."
The brunette faced the freckled boy who seemed ashamed of himself looking down holding his hands together. Even if the call wasn't on speaker he could hear how loud and upset her mother was.
"I could hear your mom during your conversation, sorry about that but I couldn't help but feel guilty for wasting your time." He mourned tapping his finger tips together. "And well now you're going to get in trouble because of me so...please just tell her it wasn't your fault-"
"It wasn't yours either so don't worry, ok?" She smiled and gently held his hand placing hers on top of his. Izuku froze from the sudden contact and looked at the brunette. "I'm kinda glad I took my time, it's nice to help people." She nervously chuckled. "But be careful next time, you already look like a nice person so don't think of it much." She soothed.
Izuku felt lost in words. It felt like so much things happened today. From the dream he had in the morning, bakugo waiting hours for him after school, chasing after his small note for almost 15 minutes, feeling worthless again, and then this sweet person helps him.
It already felt like his life was coming to an end but what just happened? Is what he kept questioning himself right now in his head.
This was the first time someone has ever been nice to him, aside from his mom. Her hands felt warm and soft, her kind words were enough to warm his heart.
His cheeks began to form into a light shade of pink. "I-uh-well- yea, I will." He mumbled turning his head away as she managed to hear.
The girl then set her hands free. "Well I have to go, it was nice talking to you." She nervously laughed before turning around taking her leave. Right when she was a couple feet away, she stopped and looked back at Izuku who was still standing there, looking awkward.
She felt a little bad leaving him there since she thought he needed help walking himself home but knew she had somebody at home waiting for her and didn't want to be lectured. She gave a soft smile before raising her hand and waved. "Bye!" and left while the boy that watched her leave, couldn't help but feel sad and upset.

8:50 p.m.
Dark shades of steel blue mixed with orange and pink started to take over the sky as the moons mellow waning crescent figure appeared, still forming but there. The sun was close to disappearing and the birds that were flying freely set off to their homes. Lights poles turned on one by one brightening the empty streets as Izuku walked passed them.
Since he was pretty much lost and had to use google maps to help himself, it took almost 20 minutes on his way back home. Made him annoyed replaying the thoughts of his olympic track he did. While he was almost there, he thought about the small interaction he had with the girl. It was strange to him, mainly because he never encountered someone like her.
Although a little bit inside him did cherish that moment so it became something he would never forget, definitely. She was so kind, thoughtful, beautiful, and just...what Izuku didn't expect out of somebody.
The thing is, was that before the girl had left, Izuku wanted to ask what her name was and maybe thought if they could see eachother again. He didn't sense some bad arua from her so why not? One thing that made him feel bad though, was that he never got to thank her.
He stopped before continuing.
"How stupid of me."

He finally made it back home. He dug out his keys from his pocket and inserted it inside the keyhole. Before he entered, he took another last glance at the sunset. Star's were now shown glowing a little through out the surface as he heard some cricket's start to chirp.
He wished he could see this view forever. He remembered the times where he and his mother would have picnics together during the sunset and ever since then, it became a small habit for him to watch and observe.
