"Go Nate!! You can do it! Come on score!"
All you can hear is cheering throughout the whole arena. In case you were wondering yes, I am at the town hockey game.
My name is Rose Emelie, I'm 17 turning 18 in less than a month. I happen to have a huge crush on one of he hockey players on the team. Sadly, he had no clue that I even exist.
Anyways back to reality, the Wolves are behind by 1 goal, there is about 3 minutes left of the game. If they win this game then they might win the grey cup!
Scorrreeee!
Goal by Nate Corrado, assisted by Riley Thomas! At 19:20 in the third and final period!
"Good job Nate! Woohoo!"
Usually after the games a lot of the fans go by the change room to wait for the boys to come out of the showers and wait to see them and talk to them when they are about to leave. I am one of them. Although some of the boys could care less about me. It hurts to say but it is true.
I'm always hoping that Nate will notice me for once, it's not like I'm expecting us to date and get together or anything. All I ever wanted was for him to say hi and smile at me. I mean is that so hard?
"Rose? Do you think he'll notice you tonight?" My best friend Mel asked, she has amazing, long brown hair and beautiful green eyes that get her notice by so many guys. Especially the boys on the team.
I hope so" I'm not too sure Mel, I he hasn't yet I don't think he will now."
"Don't give up girl! Tonight just might be the night he does!" -Mel
"And what makes you think that?"
"I don't know, I just have a feeling he will! Trust me." -Mel
"Whatever"
"You ready for that sociology exam?" -Mel
"Yeah, you?"
"Yeah I am. I stayed up all last night trying to remember all this stuff"-Mel
"I would've helped you! By the way nice way of trying to distract me and change the subject!'
"I'm sorry! I had to!"-Mel
"Ok. But I'm seriously going to go now."
"Why?! He hasn't come out yet?!"- Mel
"Exactly! That's why it's best if I just go now before there any chance of embarrassment!"
"Girl, stop being afraid!"- Mel
"That's so easy for you to say! You have guys falling at your feet! I don't!"
"That's because you never let them!"-Mel
"Not true. Look just meet me outside by the car, I can't stay here any longer"
"Okay, fine."-Mel
I just had to leave, I can't stand the idea of him coming out and something bad happening. He will never notice me. I wish he would but let's face it, he won't. I mean why would he? I'm nothing like his usual girls or even like Mel! She's beautiful and I'm just your average girl. I have no chance of ever being good enough for a boy let alone a hot hockey player.
-Mean while inside the arena-
Mel is still there waiting on Nate to come out. Rose is too shy and is just not confident to talk to Nathan or do anything about him, so I'm making it my job to get him to notice Rose and talk some sense into him. I mean Rose is gorgeous, with beautiful long brown hair, green-blue eyes with a hint of grey, amazing body with curves to die for. Yet she has no clue just how beautiful she is. She thinks she's ugly and normal. Nate is crazy not to see her.
Finally Nate comes out of the change room with Jett and Joey, he looks around, not seeing the beautiful girl who is usually standing by the wall in front of the ramp. Where could she be? I was hoping to talk to her. Maybe I could ask her friend that she's always with. Hmm where is she?
