It was early in the morning and I could hear the others outside my room. It's rather early for them to be here. They must be shaken up from last night, can't blame them.

I head to the bathroom and change into my work attire. I head out of my room and see everyone huddled around Ryuzaki.

He was sitting on his chair, facing the big TV in front of him. "So, what's in them?" Chief Yagami asks.

"They're very interesting videos. If the police had said yes and cooperate with Kira, tape number three was to be aired. And if the answer was no, number four was to be aired. Tape three details the conditions for cooperation. Basically, to broadcast more criminals. Especially those who had hurt people. Or criminals who had abused those weaker than they are. Regardless of how severe their crimes were. And Kira would play the judge in all of this."

My face twitches from the pure revulsion I felt toward Kira and his arrogant views of people. I stand far from the others unknowingly and listen to their conversation.

"Furthermore, as proof that the police are cooperating, he said that he wanted the top brass from the NPA and L to appear on TV and announce that they will cooperate with him. In other words, get the top brass and me to show our faces so that if we do anything suspicious, he can kill us."

My eyes immediately begin to tear up and a rush of emotion tried pushing me to run up to him and beg for him to not do so, but of course, I can't reveal our relationship.

I wipe my tears and take a deep breath in. 'Calm yourself, (Y/N).' I told myself in repeat.

The team goes quiet. "So, what if we had answered no?" Mr. Yagami asked.

"Basically, the same thing just expressed in a different manner."

Everyone whispers among themselves, barely realizing how far I am from the others, I walk closer to them.

"Mr. Yagami, the answer is no, of course. please give Sakura TV permission to air the fourth video." Ryuzaki then passes the tape to Mr. Aizawa.

I walk up closer to Ryuzaki and the gang and stare heavily at the tape.

"Oh, hello (F/N). Sorry if we woke you." A voice pulls me from my stare off with the tape. I look up to see Watari in his proper position.

"Good morning Watari. It's fine I've been here for a while." I smile at him and greet the other members.

After some time, Watari turned on the TV and the same "Kira" screen took over. The same anxious feeling I had from last night resurfaces, and my whole body grows goosebumps.

"I think it is unfortunate that your answer is no. The police have answered that they will still wish to fight me. SO, I will first take the life of the director-general of the NPA. Or, I may take the life of L, Who is leading the investigation.-"

My heart drops and my whole body feels heavy. My vision blurs and all I can feel is immense pounding coming from my chest. 'This can't be a heart attack...' I reassured myself.

A huge pump of adrenaline courses through my veins and I begin to hyperventilate.

Mr. Yagami and the others don't notice me struggling due to them being glued to the screen in front of us.

"The director-general or L. Who will be sacrificed for the loss of a peaceful world? Please make your decision in four days."

'Oh no, I'm having a panic attack' Before I could call out for assistance, the adrenaline in my system strikes one final blow and my head begins to spin.
