The team and yourself were discussing on the Naomi case, when Watari walked in informing you all about Sakura TV. The station played tapes from Kira (second kira) and many people died on live television. Ryuzaki and the gang were getting stressed out trying to figure out how to stop the tapes without having anyone else die. You try and leave to head to the station, pushing Ryuzaki to slip up and show a soft side of him toward you.

A loud crash is heard from the TV, and everyone quickly turns their attention to the screen.
An ambulance truck burst through the doors of the station.
"That's one way to get into the building without being seen," Ryuzaki commented.
After some time, the police arrive at the scene.
Matsuda lets out a sigh of relief, "We're not alone in this. There are still police who are willing to stand up against Kira."
"Mr. Aizawa, you know the deputy directory Kitamura's cell phone number, don't you?" Ryuzaki asks.
Aizawa nods and quickly dials his number. Ryuzaki quickly grabs the phone from him.
"This is L, I want you to do something for me. Watch the news broadcast. You'll see the officers driven to act on their own, to bring Kira to justice. If you don't take control of them as their superior, we'll have a tragedy on our hands."
The man on the other side responds, "But we are not supposed to get involved in this case." Everyone goes quiet when the policemen on screen die.
"...I understand, L. Advice me on how I should lead them."
Before Ryuzaki could begin, Watari receives a phone call and says, "It's from detective superintendent Yagami."
Ryuzaki brings up his hand. "Call him back and give the phone to me." Watari nods and calls back, passing the phone to Ryuzaki.
"Quickly, get me Ryuzaki!" Mr. Yagami yelled from the other side of the cell.
"It's me. Mr. Yagami, so that was you in that police van." Ryuzaki stated. "Yes, I just couldn't take it anymore. I've confiscated all the tapes. I'll bring them to you."
"How are you doing?" Ryuzaki asked.
"I'm more than fine. I've never felt more alive in my life. So, what should I do? I think going out in the frot would be dangerous. But maybe I'll be alright in that van."
"Wait just a moment." Ryuzaki swiftly moves to the other phone in his opposite hand. "Deputy director Kitamura, Chief Yagami is the one who crashed into the building. Are you prepared?"
"As you requested."
Ryuzaki switches to Watari's phone again. "Mr. Yagami. Wait five minutes, then just exit through the front entrance." He instructed.
"Just exit through the front entrance?"

While waiting for the time to go by, I walk to sit on the couch with Aizawa. I let out a long sigh of tiredness, relieved that the nightmare is somewhat almost over.
