Xiao sighed as he felt Lumine gently lean back while having him still in her arms. She gently ran her hand up and down his back as he laid beside her.
"Thank you, Xiao. For saving me again." Lumine put her hand gently on his hair as he stayed quiet.
He gently pulled her closer to him for some reason. He had never realized his feeling for the mortal until now.

"Would you.. like to go to the lantern rite festival.. with me..." Xiao hid his face as blush instantly covered his cheeks.
He heard Lumine laugh as she pulled his hands from his face. He looked at her as she smiled.
"I'd love to!" Lumine quickly ruffled his hair before limping to the bathroom to change.
