Why did I even ask if i could come?
I look at Archie and see he's looking at me with somewhat a mix of concern and suspicion.
"I-" I stammer, not knowing what to say. Jughead raises his eyebrow, his eyes more curious.
"I just want to go. Is there a problem with me wanting to go see my boyfriend?" I ask defensively, while turning my face, trying to hide the redness in my cheeks.
"Its fine Jug." Archie says shrugging.
I turn my head to see Betty walking towards us now.
Betty Cooper. My best friend. The perfect girl next door. The girl who has the one boy i will never be able to reach.

Stop it Veronica.
"Veronica. Veronica!" I hear Jughead say, waving his hand in my face. I snap out of my trance, and get back to reality.
"What are you doing, you weirdo?" I say to him as i shove his hands away from my face.
"How about you stay down here on earth with us normal people, okay?" He replies, mockingly.
And then i remember why I detest him so much.
