A Generic Beginning Pt. 2

"I mean for FUCKS SAKE!" Tee became more and more agitated it seemed. "OUR PEOPLE CREATE GODS FOR FUN!" That final statement was met with silence. Because on the screen were the two brother gods they all knew. The God of Light, a golden glowing figure with antlers on his head, and the God of Darkness, glowing purple, were displayed on the screen.

The people of Remnant had no words. They heard it in Tee's tone, this all happened. If the group was speechless in the other interactions with the two that brought them here, they were nearly catatonic. They could not even form thoughts. Even the gods they knew, the ones responsible for creating Remnant- for creating humanity- were not creators... but creations as well?

Tee let out an exhausted sigh and put his face in his hands. Dee did not take his eyes off his brother. Normally, family supports one another, lifts each other up when they fall. But anyone with siblings that were normal, no semblances or aura or riches or tribal influences, will tell you that's bullshit.

In response to what could be seen as distress, Dee only raised a brow. "Wow," his tone only conveyed mild surprise. "You really are having a crisis huh?"

Tee let out another sigh through his hands. "...Yeah... Sort of."

Dee shook his head and rolled his eyes, then faced the group of huntsmen they brought. "Sorry about him, he's not normally like this. He's usually more like me, personality-wise." No one spoke, so Dee tried to snap them out of it. "So... that answer your questions?"

If Tee was having an existential crisis that he was pretending was a way of processing information, then those from Remnant were not coping as well. Their understanding of events was completely changed. Everything they did seemed so unimportant now.

"I see..." Dee had no idea how to proceed. Luckily, he didn't have to, as Tee lifted his face from his hands, and took a deep breath.

"Okay..." he looked to team RWBY, Nora, Ren, Oscar, and the Cotta-Arc family. "You wanted answers about Jaune."

Recomposing themselves, Ruby took the lead.

"My team and I fell off the platforms. We were warned not to, and we ended up here," she began. "But I don't think we got here because we fell. You brought us here right? That's what you said. So why are we here, and Jaune isn't?" All of the blond boy's friends wished to hear their explanation. His family was extremely worried. Why wasn't Jaune with his friends? Had something happened?

"That's nice," Dee smiled. "You care about your friend."

They did not like that. It wasn't meant to be, but the tone came off as somewhat condescending. As if speaking to a child.

"TELL ME WHERE MY BROTHER IS, DAMMIT!" Saphron yelled. She wanted to know why she, her wife, and their child were brought here. She got her explanation. Now she wanted to know why her brother wasn't.

"...We don't know," Tee said.

This did not help. These two had untold power, but they didn't know where their friend was? They couldn't bring him here like they had them?

Dee turned to the screen, lifted his hand, and snapped his fingers.

On the screen, Jaune and Winter were facing Cinder, further away on an elevated platform. In her right hand was the Staff of Creation, the Relic of Knowledge was attached to her hip, and her left hand held a burning sword, created from magic.

Seeing Cinder on-screen made many boil with rage. Especially seeing her possess the two relics they worked so hard to keep away from Salem and her forces.

Just as they were about to face off, the entire place shook as an ungodly scream was heard, and reverberated around them.

Jaune turned to Winter, whose eyes burned with the magic of the Winter Maiden. "We need to go." Winter, seething with anger wanted nothing more than to kill Cinder at any cost. How could she not? She just lost her sister for all she knew.
