"Hmm," Dee rested his hands on his hips, then turned to look at his brother beside him. "That's a pretty good one. What exactly are we? What do we tell them?"
His brother only looked to the ancient wizard. "On the matter of who I am, you can call me Tee."
They now had a name for Dee's brother. Something that perplexed the group from Remnant. "Dee and Tee?" asked Yang disbelievingly. She wanted to laugh, but a small part of her deep down told her that was a bad idea.
"As for the second question," Tee continued, "We are... complicated beings. We exist away from your world. We control all this power, and to us, we are nothing at all special." He looked down at his hands, "To us, we are only people. Everything that we do seems ordinary to us. Specs of nothing in all of existence that will be forgotten in a sea of our kind."
Tee then turned his head to the audience as they tried to make sense of his words. "But to you... We must seem like gods."
None could speak. Their... hosts?... had demonstrated power that could easily be mistaken for a semblance. However, their claim to have stopped time, that they were in a place outside their universe? Now they said that they are gods compared to them.
Dee then spoke his own thoughts, "Are we really?"
Now everyone was confused again.
"I mean sure, we have total control of this place, but like you said: we aren't that special."
"To us, yes," Tee looked toward his brother. "We exist only by chance. A tiny minuscule possibility that life could But look at all that our kind has accomplished. All that our kind has created." The screen behind them lit up.
On the screen were what looked like whole planets. Then the image zoomed out to show swirling vortexes of light. Galaxies. "Others of our kind created countless worlds. Entire star systems. Entire universes," Tee continued. The screen shifted to show a video of two large hairy figures, one tan, and the other a mossy green color, fighting in a forest. What was unbelievable was that they towered over the trees surrounding them.
The image changed again to display another video. This one showed more monsters, looking as if in a standoff in the midst of a ruined city. An enormous one that looked like a black lizard. Another was a giant insect, a moth. A large red creature that looked not too dissimilar to a Teryx, only more bird-like. Lastly, a truly monstrous beast that had the appearance of a golden three-headed dragon with gigantic bat-like wings. All of these dwarfed any Grimm they had ever known. The only one they could compare them to was the whale that Salem had brought to Atlas.
Tee began talking once again, "Our people have made countless unbelievable monsters into reality." As he continued, they saw the spines on the giant lizard begin glowing blue. Starting from its tail, a low hum could be heard building up until the glow reached its head, where it opened its maw and unleashed an intense-looking beam of bright blue energy toward the dragon. Those that were present in Argus weeks ago were reminded of the Leviathan that attempted to attack the city.
An overhead shot of the red featherless bird showed it flying over a section of buildings. Just as swiftly as it passed over, the buildings they were looking at were decimated. This monster used wind to destroy a section of a city just by simply flying over it.
"We only thought of the idea of the Multiverse, and it came to be. Infinite worlds created for all of time."
They saw one single planet, mostly covered in water, dotted with giant landmasses. This was not Remnant, but a whole other world. Then another appeared next to it. Then two more below them. More and more worlds were shown as the picture zoomed out further and further and further.
