"Uh... What she said," Sun said.
"You guys are okay!" Neptune chose to focus on the friends they made during the Vytal festival instead of his sudden transport. One thing at a time.
"Sun? Neptune?" Blake asked. She started getting the impression that a pattern was going on. These were all people they had met on their journey. However it was strange to see Saphron and Terra. They were civilians, what did they have to do with what they went through in Atlas? With their mission of fighting against Salem?
Seeing their leader's family brought to this new place slightly worried Ren and Nora, as well as team RWBY. Concerned, they made their way toward the family of three, with Nora going in for a group hug. Terra asked her brother-in-law's friends, "What exactly is going on here?"
"And where's Jaune?" Saphron also questioned.
Ruby responded to her, "We were just about to find out." She looked at the two brothers, "These two were just about to tell us. They're the ones that brought us here." The newcomers looked to the strangers that stood there. Their appearances didn't seem too strange, save for their eyes.
"Okay," Harriet started, growing impatient. "You said that we would get answers when you talked with someone. I'm assuming that 'someone' is your brother here," she gestured toward the man they met just a moment ago. "So cough 'em up!"
Both brothers turned to the group, seeing they all agreed with the Ace Ops member. Then they all flinched. The energy they gave off was completely different now. Almost as if they had been muting it the whole time. Their glowing white eyes looked to them as if they were lesser. Not in a superior way, but in a way that made them all feel as though they could do nothing with their lives.
"Very well," Dee said.
Dee's brother asked them, "What would you like to know?"
Winter stepped forward, forcing her subconscious fear back down. "Why are we not in Vacuo?! The people there need our help!" She and those who put their plan to save Atlas and Mantle shared her frustration. They had risked much to help the innocent from Salem, and later General Ironwood.
"Wait," Sun interjected. "You guys are in Vacuo?"
No one answered the monkey Faunus question. Instead, Dee's brother answered the specialist's question. "Those that made it to Sanus are safe," was the response given.
"How?!" Winter pushed. "The Grimm could return at any moment! Without us to protect them, they'll never make it to Vacuo!"
Dee waved a hand as a calming gesture. "Easy, easy. They're safe. We stopped time so that nothing would happen in your absence."
That got their attention. Time was stopped? How? Was this true? If this was true, how could these two accomplish it?
"Okay then," Weiss was next. "Where are we? We aren't in Vacuo, Vale, or Atlas, and we definitely aren't in that shortcut Ambrosius created. So where are we?"
Dee's brother answered, "We are nowhere. Outside of time and space. The laws of reality bend to our will alone."
This got a reaction. Their eyes widened and their jaws dropped. They wouldn't believe it, except for the fact that they awoke in what they thought was Beacon Academy, then were transported to a "movie theater" via a door/portal made of light, created by one of them. With everything they learned in the past year, it would be unwise to dismiss their claims entirely.
Ozpin, for a third time, tried to ask his question to the strangers before them. "Who... What are you?" he simply asked, too stunned to push for specifics.
