Chapter 10

Prestons POV
I woke up around 9:15 am. I feel something on top of me. As I look I see Shortcake sleeping with her head on my chest, her hands behind my head and our feet interlocked.

I see her starting to shuffle in her sleep, so I pretend to be asleep. She looks at me and smiled a little, but then I opens my eyes and said "boo". She screamed and fell off me and landed on the floor.

"Ouch, that fucking hurt you douche" she said with a smile.

"Oh your choosing some very colorful vocabulary" I say to her with a little devious smile on my face.

She giggles, and I swear you giggle is like the cutest giggle, now I see where Anna gets it from.

Elianna made breakfast which consisted of eggs, toast, sausage, and pancakes and orange juice, let's just say that I just might come over here everyday for food because Kate can't cook like this and usually I get Dominos, McDonald's, or Chick-fil-A.

After breakfast she said I could take a shower before I left to go back to my house where Kate was.

I got back home and walked in my house and saw my old friend James Greyson and Kate on my couch kissing. I wasn't mad at James I was actually relieved cause now I had a reason to brake up with her.

"WHAT THE HELL" I yelled and scared them both shit-less

"Preston it's not what it looks like" Kate said with tears in her eyes

"Pack your stuff, leave my fucking house and don't come back" I said to her

After she left I went over to James.

"Hey I'm not mad at you dude" I said to him and he was relieved.

"Good I feel so much better dude, I didn't know she was your fiancée." He said

"It's ok, I needed a reason to brake up with her anyway." I say to him

He looked at me as if he saw a donkey riding on a pigeon.

I decided to speak again " Elianna came back" I said and he knew what I meant by that.

"Good for you dude, how's that going?" He asked.

"Well I'm a dad to twins." I said.

He looked surprised but happy.

"Really what are they like?" He asked

Since it had already been 3 hours since I left Elianna's I figured the twins would be back from Meredith's by now.

"How about you come see for yourself?" I ask him and he nodded.

We walked over to her house and we knock, Eli opens the door and she is dressed in black yoga pants with a yellow shirt that said "Hello Sunshine" on it and it fit her body perfectly. She had her hair in a loose braid folded over her right shoulder.

"Hey Preston... and James" she said suspiciously.

"Hey shortcake James just came over and wanted to meet the twins" I said.

"Oh ok that's fine, come on in" she said stepping aside so we could enter.

We enter and we heard shortcake yell to the twins. They come running down the stairs. We see them coming and saw Chase slip and fall on his face, but he gets back up and says "I'm good" with both thumbs up.

"Yup that's definitely Prestons kid" James says with a chuckle.

When both kids are down they stand in front of me, Elianna, and James.

"This is Chase Willson" I say pointing to my son.

"And this is Annalise Willson" I say pointing to my little girl".

"Hi I'm Annalise, but you can call me Anna" my daughter says to James.

"Sup I'm Chase, but you can call me Chase." My son says and I chuckle cause he acts just like me.

"Wow Anna acts just like Eli and Chase acts just like you Preston." James says with a chuckle.

Eli smiles, shakes her head and walks towards the kitchen. She then asks "do you boys want to stay for lunch?"

"I'm not a boy I'm a man" I say with a fake manly voice. The kids giggled, James chuckled and Eli smiled.

"But yes we would like to stay for lunch" I said and James nodded.

"How about I call Ava and Max, and hey could also bring Benny" she asks in her angelic like voice.

"Ya sur-" I was cut off by James

"Ava Milton?!" He asks

Me and Eli both nod, then I say "why don't we also invite Meredith over for maybe not lunch but early dinner?" I ask and James and Eli both nod.

Couple hours later...

There's a ring at the doorbell, Eli opens the door and Meredith comes in and hugs Eli and the twins. She then comes to me and looks at me like I was a gross frog but then gave me a little hug.

She then sees James and she gives him a nod, I noticed he winked at her and she blushed a little bit.

The doorbell rang again and Ava and Max came in with their 6 year old son, Benny.

"Ok so I have been cooking all day but it's still not done yet but it is almost done." Shortcake says.

Everyone was understanding and just staring catching up.

Meredith and Ava ended up helping Eli in the kitchen.

Me, James, Max, Chase, and Benny were watching the football game.

Anna was listening to music in her headphones, while dancing. Let me tell you she was just so damn cute.

30 mins later and Eli called us for dinner. She made, chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, salad, hot dogs, burgers.

She bought wine, and sparkling grape juice for the kids since it looks like wine.

While we were eating and talking Max stood up and said he had to make an announcement.

"Well as you know me and Ava are together and we have little Benny over here" he said pointing to their 6 year old son, and continued talking "and Ava and I are... having another baby" he says with a smile and everyone was happy .

After that everyone left and I had told Eli about Kate so she offered to let me stay for awhile so I wouldn't be alone.
