Chapter 6

Prestons POV:
When I saw my kids with shortcake I knew I made a mistake to choose my reputation over my children, and now I'm with Kate which I really like but I knew she didn't and still doesn't want any kids which I was ok with that in the beginning.

Now I want to be in my kids life, especially since the first time they called me daddy my heart grew 5 times the size. Chase is my little mini me and acts just like me which I don't know whether to be thrilled or worried.

Then there's my little Annalise Reign, she is just like her mommy, smart, funny , beautiful and has just this smile that lights up anything dark.

Today Eli said I could spend Quality time with my twins which I'm nervous for so I'm gonna ask Eli if she could come with us to an amusement park.

I took a shower and stared to get dressed in a red shirt with some black jeans and a black leather jacket. I left to get the kids and Eli in my black mustang with a orange stripe down it. I look at Eli's house which is the one she grew up in and I lived next door still since my dad decided to go and move around the world for his work.

As I knock on the door Eli answers it and she is still in her pjs trying to get the kids ready but she forgot she told me she would come with us. So she let me in and she went to get dressed.

10 mins later she comes down with the kids and what she was wearing was so simple but it made her look sexy AF! She had a oversized Buffalo bills football jersey on with black leggings and white Air Force's, her hair was in its brown long naturally wavy like style, with foundation, blush, eyeliner, and mascara for the makeup. Unlike Kate, Eli doesn't wear a shit ton of makeup.

Then my kids look cute as ever with Chase having a blue shirt with black jeans, and his little black leather jacket.

Annalise has Yankees T-shirt with black leggings with her hair the same as her moms.

It's funny how chase was wearing the same thing as me without even knowing it.

"I was thinking we could go to the amusement park for a couple hours, then ice cream, then we could have take out, and have a movie night! How does that sound?" I ask waiting for shortcakes answer.

She nodded as she was locking the door to her house, she turns around and looks at my car and smirks.

"You still have this car?" She asks with a smirk on her face.

I giggle- wait did I just giggle? I think I did, men don't giggle.

Any way "yes I still do, do you have your white corvette? I ask her.

She nods and presses a button to open the garage to see her corvette, then she shuts her garage.

We get into the car and the radio turns on and she hooks her phone up to bluetooth and put on One direction, shortcake and little Anna were singing while me and Chase rolled our eyes, I swear this kid is my twin that was born from a different time and person.

As we pulled up to our nearest amusement park which was 30 mins away, and as the kids went running in front of us but close enough to were if we needed to we could grab their arms.

The kids go and play on the slide and we sit in the closest bench, and we see that we are the only ones at the park.

"So when is the wedding?" Shortcake asks me

"I don't know, we got engaged 2 months ago and we haven't talked about the wedding since she slipped the ring on." I said

I saw sadness in her eyes then it quickly changed to love when she glanced at the twins.

"Those kids are the only things I have left, I dont know what I would do if I don't have them." She said with a little sadness in her voice.

"You have Meredith and... me." I said to her with a pause.

She smiled at me then looked at the little boy and the little girl we created, but she raised for the last 5 years.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask her

She looks at me and nods, so I keep on going.

"Do you wanna go to this fancy work party with me?" I ask with a bit of nervousness in my voice.

She smirked then asked "why not take Kate"

Shit! I knew that was coming "because Kate isn't responsible enough for anything like that, but you, you are one of the most responsible people I have ever met." I say to her with sincerity.

She looks at my face to see if I was lying, which I wasn't and she could tell.

"Ok!"

Her response was short and sweet. Then we see a women pull up to the park with a little girl and the women looked old enough to be the grandma but I'm not one to judge.

The women let's the little girl go and walks over to us since we're the only other ones there.

"Hi are you guys new?" The brown haired women asks us.

Apparently there are regulars. Huh, who knew!

"Um yes we are just here with those two kids" I say to the brown haired women.

"Awwe it's so sweet to see to older siblings taking care of their younger siblings." She says to us

We make a disgusted face at the thought of anyone think we were siblings, I mean after all we did sleep together.

"Umm... we are not siblings and those two are our kids" shortcake says to the women

"We are teen parents, but we're 21 now." I say to her.

She started smiling again which was starting to creep me out.

"We'll you kids are doing a great job those kids seem great!" the women said

"We didn't catch your name" i say to the women.

"Hi my name is Wendy, and this is my daughter, Blaire Connley." She said and I saw shortcake freeze.
