chapter one. hellhounds

Start from the beginning

"thanks Cass but we were just about to drop them off at the hospital to see if anyone could pick them up" Sam told the angel sitting next to me

I looked between the two and then out the car window. It was already getting dark it would be pitch black by the time we got there

"I can't go to the hospital" I say softly

"oh, they speak" dean said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes at comment and look at Sam "just take me to a motel"

Sam looks confused and turns back to look at me again "why not? Don't you have family who you can stay with?"

I look away and swallow softly. I was staying with my aunt before the hellhound showed up. Unfortunately, after it got her it came to get to me. Sam seemed to catch on nodding sadly

"alright. We will take you to the hotel we are staying at. It a couple miles up the road so rest for now" Sam told me

I nodded and made myself comfortable in the back seat.

"Can I speak now?" Castiel asked finally done waiting to be heard by the boys. Dean took a glance back at the angel threw his mirror and sighed "yeah what's up Cass" dean said continuing to focus on the road. I tuned out their conversation and pulled out my phone and ear buds playing my music to help me relax until I got to the hotel

I had eventually just closed my eyes and focused on the music. I tried thinking about how I would manage at the age of 19 alone. I was absorbed into my own thoughts only to be pulled out when someone yanked my ear buds out of my phone. Whole Lotta Love by zeppelin blasted out of my phone earning a smirk from dean.

"were here" dean told me.

I grabbed what I had on me and crawled out of the car. I looked around for a moment. The motel wasn't the nicest, but it would do for now. You start to head to the front desk before a hand stopped you. You looked back expecting Sam the more empathetic of the two brothers but instead turned to see dean

"just wait a minute okay. Let's get you something to eat first. It's the least we can do before letting you off on your own" he told me

I wasn't sure at first, but he insisted. Eventually I agreed to go eat with them. Dean walked me over to their hotel room so they could put their bags down and relax for a moment. I watched them take guns and knives of all kinds off their person. It was shocking to see but it made a lot more sense after today

They put away their fake badges and weapons away then stashed their bags next to their beds to it was easier to then pack up and leave after dinner.

We eventually get back into the car and start heading to the dinner its quiet for a moment until Dean speaks up again

"hey mind telling us your name. I want to know who I'm buying dinner for" he asks me soft giving me a glance threw the rear-view mirror

It wasn't until just now after everything they had done and are doing for me. They didn't even know my name.

"oh, umm its y/n. Just y/n is fine" I told them

"y/n?" Sam questioned

I nodded my head softly to their questions and laughed softly

"Anyways I'm going to get my jam on if you know what I mean y/n" Dean mused and winked at me.

Dean played a tape and zeppelin blasted through the speakers in the car. Sam jumped a little bit and me and Dean laughed. Dean started drumming on the steering weal all we both sang along to the song playing. Sam looked between the two of us and laughed softly too himself. Eventually down the road we pulled into the dinner me and dean singing are lungs out to the end of the song. Sam laughed at us as we got out of the car. We walked into the dinner and found our self's a seat.
