After that incident, you completely ignored Tanjiro. You rarely smiled and you kept your focus on training. However, you didn't cry, you had broken bones and never cried about the pain before, so why would you cry over a boy who hurt you? There's no point.
You still talked to Nezuko and Takashi, Inosuke and Zenitsu but not as much as you used to. You also focused more on training.
You read more of the book and you got to know your more about your most powerful move, 'black dragon'.
According to the book, It's a move where it allows you to control your own dragon made from the shadows that you can control within you.
There are 2 power levels of this move. If you use this move, you would use the first level, a dragon mark would form on your forehead to indicate that you are still mastering this move.
When you are using this move, you can see from the dragons point of view through the mark and you can control it from there, you and the dragon's mind are connected, so you can talk to the dragon in your mind when you are busy with other enemies.
When you are in the dragons point of view, the mark on your forehead will glow and your eyes will turn to the colour of your soul.
(The colour of your soul is basically your favourite colour ;) )
You tried this move, but ended up coughing out blood from the over flow of power that your body can't contain.

This is the first part of it as you can see 2 dragons, it means that you are still not in one piece with you inner soul and heart. That's why there are 2 dragons.
When you finally master the move, the final mark on your forehead will look like this:

This is your complete mark on your forehead indicating that you mastered this final move. As you can see it's only one dragon, so this means that your soul and heart are one, forming one powerful black shadow dragon.
For every shadow breather, a spirit animal would choose who it's master is, and for this generation in which you are the next shadow breather, the dragon spirit chose you. One of the rarest and most powerful and rarest ones.
You also learned new moves aswell, like shadow transmission, basically you are able to teleport anywhere as long as you go under shade or any place which has shadows. Works better at night since you can teleport anywhere because it's dark.
There is also black explosion, which is pretty self explanatory. Basically when the opponent is close enough, your sword will let out a huge explosion which is able to destroy low class demons and damage higher class demons. However, you'll get scars from it.
Lastly, you can also trap your opponents in an illusion, which in another words called mind manipulation or genjutsu. However, this can only be used when you are always keeping an eye on your opponent, once you look away, they break out of it.
If you're advanced enough, you can trap your opponents forever in the illusions even with you dying.
After all this training, you sort of mastered the 3 new moves, shadow transmission, black explosion and mind manipulation. For black dragon however, you decided it was still to dangerous, but you did meditation to at least gain better control over your inner soul and heart.
Kanao actually spoke and apologised for all the trouble she has caused between you and Tanjiro, she didn't mean any harm and didn't know your feelings over him.
You shook your head and say that it was fine and it wasn't her fault.
Tanjiro tried to talk to you but was always stopped by the people around you, like Shinobu, Aoi, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Giyuu, Rengoku, Kinuzu, Kotaro, Hine, Hanzo, Mitsuri and mostly Takashi.
You could also see that Kanao didn't talk to Tanjiro afterwards and avoided him, basically everyone was mad at him.
However, he knew he deserved it so he didn't complain, even when your friends or other people were criticising him for being such a horrible person. He still tried to talk to you but you also ignored him.
There were some instances where Giyuu, Inosuke and Hine did beat him up, but sometimes it went to far. (Giyuu almost ended up killing him, ligit) Though you didn't want to, you had to stop Giyuu from killing him and send Tanjiro over to the recovery room.
Your POV
It's been around 5 days that I was staying at the mansion, I finally got my new-made nirichin blade so I can finally fight with a real sword.
I still felt upset about what had happened the last 2 days. I just trained to distract myself. I looked down at my bruised knuckles and looked at my pinkie.
That's when I got the flashback of the promise that me and Tanji made back at the Wisteria house. I scoffed quietly, 'Promises means nothing when his actions are completely opposite huh.' I thought to myself.
Then when I was turning around the corner, I heard a someone sobbing. I looked over and saw Tanjiro sitting down with his knees close to his chest and his face buried in his knees.
My eyes widened slightly when I heard, "I shouldn't have said that. Stupid. Stupid! God... Curse my mouth! Even Nezuko is ignoring me..." I heard him sob, "I'm so sorry for being immature... I just want to listen to your voice again. Please... forgive me... why can't I do anything right? Goddammit!..."
He went on and on to himself.
My brows knitted together, not knowing how to feel.
"Y/n," someone from behind me called, I looked back, and saw Kyōkku, "Oyakata sama wants to see you, he is has a new mission for you. He will give you the details in the meeting."
I nodded, "Alright, noted." I replied as Kyōkku flew away.
I was about to go when my body stiffened, I looked back at Tanjiro, I clenched my fists when I looked at his state. He had bandages from all the beat up he had and he looked like he haven't slept in 3 days.
I gritted my teeth.
What should I do?
A. Go and talk to him. B. Leave him, he deserves it.
