Chap 54 [help out]

Third person POV

You smiled at his offer, "Thanks Takashi but it's okay, I can walk..." you replied while standing up.

Takashi frowned slightly, but he returned the smile and nodded, "Okay... but if you need support you can hold on to my shoulder okay? Take it easy."

You stood up and realised that you left your cloak somewhere, you walked around for a bit and found it lying on the ground, you picked it up and swung it over your shoulder and clipped it on.

You furrowed your brows in worry, 'Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, Zenitsu...' you thought to yourself worried. Riu was strong, what if there are other demons that are as strong as him? Or worse, stronger? Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu might not be able to handle them... especially Zenitsu since he was alone.

You felt a hand on your shoulder, you turned around and faced Takashi, "Hey, don't worry okay? Let's go see if we can find them." Takashi suggested as if he read my mind.

You nodded and you guys ran into the woods.

(At this point, Tanjiro and Inosuke was fighting the giant demon at the lake, I forgot what mostly happened so I'm not getting into to much detail in Zenitsu's, Tanjiro and Inosuke's battle since it was alr shown in the movie :d )

You guys were making your way through the trees and bushes when you suddenly saw Tanjiro flying backwards into the air as if he was thrown by a giant.

Your eyes widened at the scene.

Your POV

"Tanjiro!" You called out worriedly. I heard him shout something while he was in the air.

I listened closely, "INOSUKE! DONT DIE! YOU HAVE TO HOLD ON UNTIL I MAKE IT BACK!" He yelled out frantically as he flew further and his voice getting softer.

My eyes widened and my sweat dropped. Both Tanjiro and Inosuke are in grave danger...

"Y/n! I'll go after Tanjiro and you go help Inosuke!" Takashi instructed as he ran off.

I grunted, 'Dammit... sorry Tanjiro! I want to help you, but Inosuke is in danger too...' I thought to myself as I ran the opposite direction to where I think Inosuke was.

I continued to run until I saw someone familiar hiding behind a tree.

'Inosuke!' I thought as I ran up to him. When he saw me though, he immediately put a finger up on his boar head nose(?) Signalling me to keep quiet.

I stopped in my tracks and nodded, I hid behind a tree to see what or who he was hiding from. My eyes widened when I saw a giant demon walking slowly towards where Inosuke was. My blood froze, 'This giant...' I thought to myself.

I could see that Inosuke was shaking, he was breathing heavily and blood ran down his arms as he stood there.

I grunted, 'I don't have my sword... I can't change into a demon... Dammit... what do I do?!' I thought to myself frantically as I see the demon approaching Inosuke.

I had to cause a distraction and quick.

Tanjiro's POV

I flew back and surprisingly, I didn't hit the hard ground, I felt myself being caught by someone. I opened my eyes and came face to face with Takashi smiling back at me.

He set me down.

"Takashi? What are you doing here? And- wait- WHERE'S Y/N?!" I asked as I looked around frantically for her.

"Don't worry, she's okay, we saw you being thrown in the air and she's going to help Inosuke." He replied.

'Inosuke?! NO SHES NOT GOING TO BE OKAY, THATS DEMON IS STRONG, SHE COULD DIE!' I thought to myself worriedly as I furrowed my brows. I immediately ran towards the direction where Inosuke was.

"H-hey! Wait up!" Takashi called out as he ran behind me.

"Sorry! But, that demon is no ordinary demon, she's in danger! I can't let her die!" I replied as I continued to run.

"Tanjiro, she's strong, she won't die so easily, Put some faith in her!" Takashi said trying to reassure me.

"I know Takashi, but anything can happen..." I replied, muttering the last part.
