"I'm all in with Karri. If I were you, I won't care if we are going to the next street, I'm going to dress in whatever I please just to keep his eyes busy on me. Girl common, you're going on a surprise date with your billionaire boyfriend in the State. The guy will surely know the best most romantic place in the country and he can take you anywhere in it. Girl, you shouldn't disappoint him."
"IB is right Lola. Don't tell me you brought only these flower gowns and jeans with you." Ada said looking at some of the clothes on the bed.
"Yeah, I noticed you've been wearing only jeans, shorts, or a gown. Don't tell me that's all you brought?" Karimat asked.
"Well, it's mostly what I brought. We came for a vacation on an island, what do you expect?"
"So this is all?" Ibukun frowned.
"It can't be. You need something classic and sexy. And all of this is not a definition of one." Karimat said eyeing the clothes.
She heaved a sigh and sat down. Then she remembered something.
"I'm coming." She said to her friends and she went into one of the rooms where she kept her bags. She brought out a dress she bought before coming for the vacation.
It was neatly folded in one of her bags. She had brought it just for an unexpected occasion. She had totally forgotten about it because she didn't hang it. She didn't want Demilade to see it except for when she will wear it. It suddenly came to her mind when her friends began to pressure her about something nice to wear.
She was sure that it was exactly what they were expecting.
She unfolded the clothes and looked at the dress. It looked amazing just like the first time.
She had loved it the first time she saw it on display in a boutique and for the first time she bought a cloth for herself without thinking about the price tag. She knew Demilade love her in something like that. And she had planned on wearing it for any date they might have. That's why she had brought it along.
Now it's going to serve its purpose.
She took the cloth with her to meet her friends who were talking in the living room.
"So what do you think about this one?" She asked as she walked back to the living room.
"Now you're talking," Karimat commented proudly.
"So you have something beautiful as this and you made us waste our time here earlier." Ada grimaced at her friend. Lola muttered a sorry to her.
Ibukun raised her head from her phone and she peered up at the dress, then she exclaimed. "Wow! I love the gown. Bring it let me see." Ibukun said and Lola walked up to her and give her the cloth. They all admired the clothes in Ibukun hand. "Where do you get this?"
"At a boutique in the highland."
"It's an expensive one," Karimat said touching the clothes. "I can tell with the texture. But it was worth it. It's really good."
"Yes. The gown is lovely. I'm going to get one too if I can find it on Jumia."
"Me too," Ibukun said. She looked at Lola. "Now Bella, let's get you to dress up. Your boyfriend will be back anytime soon and you don't want to keep him waiting."
"No, she won't do that. Now get up." Ada commanded, gesturing with her hand.
"I can already picture you in it. Demilade will find you irresistible today." Karimat said with a smirk.
"Yeah, she is going to look hot in that," Ada said in support.
"IB go and do your magic."
Ibukun smiled broadly and she nodded. "Come over here Lola."
