"Yes yes. What were you saying?" He asked Demilade with a questioning face. Demilade smiled as he poured himself another drink.

"You've drown out of me. You totally forgot I was here."

"Sorry, didn't mean to."

"What do you have in mind?"

"Nothing much." He said looking away.

"You've been hanging out a lot with Lola's friend, Adaugo. Is there something between you two?" Demilade asked curiously.

"Not really." He replied.

Demilade chuckled looking at his friend. He was looking at the ladies direction again, eyes particularly on Ada.

"Reed." Demilade called looking serious. He turned to him. "You want to tell me what's going on in your head." He just creased a brow at him. "Don't tell me it is nothing. I know you better than that. You haven't mention any lady's ass or tit since we got here. And that is extremely rare considering the amount of ladies here in bikini. You have been going around with Ada all through the time here. I see how you look at her. It's different. I want to believe otherwise at first but.... It's actually what I thought. She doesn't look like a game to you. You look at her differently. Very differently. You have taken it upon yourself to comfort her about something. And you have been staring at her all day. Tell me Reed, do you like Ada or not?"

He heaved a sigh and took a large swallow of his drink.

"I don't know. I don't know at all Demilade. But what I am feeling is totally different from any other feeling I have ever felt. Do you know that feeling... That you want to please someone. You want to be good in that person eyes. It's more than trying to impress someone. It is more like you care about that person wellbeing. Their feelings, emotions... everything about them is like a priority. You just want them to be happy even if it is at your own expense." Demilade nodded.

"I know that feeling very well." Demilade answered him honestly.

"That's how I feel right now Demmy. It's a bit scary you know? I haven't felt like this toward anyone. Not even my mother that I adore so much. I hate it when I can't control something. When I am not in control of my emotions, I hate. I always have plans. Plans that I follow to get what I want. But since I saw her again, nothing seems to come to my head except from seeing her smile and laugh. I don't have any plans to charm her or get her in my bed. None. And it hasn't cross my mind ever since I laid eyes in her. I just want to know her. I just want to make her happy. Am I falling in love? Because this is ridiculous."

"I don't really know about this. But I know you really care about her. You care a lot about her happiness. And the fact that you have been oblivious of other women aside her, it means something. She is learning to trust you, if you really want something important with her, try not to fuck it up. Okay?"

"I don't want to. But this feeling is... I don't really like it. It makes me different.... A bit vulnerable. I always try to convince myself otherwise. But the moment I lay my eyes on her, it's all disappear and making her smile is what comes to mind. She is affecting me differently. And it's really really strange." He admitted, still looking in their direction. They were both quiet looking at the ladies in silence. "And she is beautiful." Fareed said all of a sudden. Demilade smiled at himself.

"Let see how it goes. Who knows? It might just be an infatuation. Or probably more?"

"I hope to find out soon too." He said. And in that moment, Ada said something to Immaculate before standing up from her friends midst. Then her eyes fell on them. She smiled at them before walking to their direction.

"You didn't change your minds?" She asked them when she got to their table.

"No, we are good here." Reed answered.

"Yes." Demilade agreed.

"Reed, will you like to come with me to get ice for my friends?" She asked Fareed.

He grinned. "Of course." He dropped his wine cup and stood up.

"Hope you don't mind me taking him away for a few minutes?" Ada asked Demilade. He shook his head. "Thanks." She smiled at him and she left with Fareed.

He watched as the two walked away. Fareed said something close to her ear and she burst into laughter. He admitted they were a bit cute together. He was not a fan of matchmaking but the truth was that they looked adorable together.

I'm sorry I couldn't meet up with yesterday update. Something came up and I wasn't able to finish the chapter yesterday. But here you have it, so what do you think?
