"That is very bad. I didn't know it was up to that. I'm sorry Ada, you don't deserve that." Karimat said sympathizing with Ada.

"I would have never date a married guy. But he didn't strike me as one and he lied so well too." She shake her head slowly. "But thank God I know sooner before I decide to tie the knot with him. I'm moving on with my life now. And thank you girls for being with me all through it."

"Anything for you girl." Lola nodded at her.

Ada smiled at her. "Thanks."

Lola stood up, smoothen her dress. "Babes, I will see you guys tomorrow. I need to go and call Baba Lola and talk to my babies."

"Pele Iya ibeji. Iyawo baba re." Ibukun teased Lola. [Sorry mother of twins. Her father's wife]

Lola rolled her eyes. "Na your wahalla be that IB."

"You and this your girls, you've not change." Karimat said surprised.

"Change ke. She hasn't o. Those are her first born." Ibukun replied Karimat.

"Did those twins know that you are not their mother?" Karimat asked Lola.

"Of course, they do. But they don't care and neither do I." Lola answered proudly.

"Girl, I admire you o. I no fit. Twins for that matter. I no fit keep up with their wahalla. My nephews that usually visit us during holidays, it is beating that I use to send them back to their parents house. They do not like me and I don't really care. Abeg."

"And you will be a mother one day sha?" Ada asked.

"I will try. But thank God, Iya Karimo is still alive and there are nanny to employ. As for me I can not let one child come and kill me. My life is for enjoyment and I can not let one child come and ruin that for me. You dey try Lola." Karimat replied dramatically but with every ounce of truth.

"God will help you." Ada and Lola chorused.

"But jokes apart, you are doing a good job with those kids Lola. You are very patient. Popsy is lucky to have you o. If I am the one that is his child, he would have go and find wife to marry  that will help him take care of them." Ibukun said truthfully.

"She has practically been their mother so she is used to it." Ada smiled proudly at Lola who nodded appreciatively her way.

"Thanks. I'm used to it already. They are my babies anywhere, anytime. So let me go and say hi to them before they leave for school." Lola said.

"Don't mind them jare. Go and talk with your family. Say hi to Daniel for me." Ada said. Ibukun quirk a brow at her.

"Wetin concern you and Dan?" Ibukun asked Ada raising a brow at her.

"What? Her brother is a sweet boy. He is like a younger brother. You should see the work he helped me did last week. My brothers can't do half of it." She answered demonstrating with her hands.

"Just be careful sha. He is a teenager. Don't let him start crushing on you." Karimat said.

"He has a girlfriend, he won't." Ada said.

"You can't say." Lola said and Karimat gave Ada a 'I told you so' look. "He has a crush on you before."

"Wow and you never told me that." Ada was shocked at the revelation.

"Why would I? Do you want to date my little brother? You know I won't even allow that."

"I'm not going to date him either." She grimaced. "I would have just been nicer to him than I was before."
