"Wow!" Charles exclaimed.
"We've got everything ready. Work will begin on the site soon." Fareed said.
"So how do you get that much space?" Charles asked.
"Trust Demilade to find his way. That's the usefulness of our politicians' clients." Adam said proudly. "You should see what he plans for each structure. He spent a week with his PA coming up with more ideas and designs."
"But why don't you make an underground strip club instead of an ultramodern club for youth," Fareed suggested.
"I don't want to create a strip club." Demilade disagreed.
"It will be for VIPs. You know how well men patronize the place." Fareed said, convincingly.
"Nada." Demilade disagreed. "Won't it be someone's daughter that is going to dance as a stripper?" Adam and Fareed shrugged. "No. I'm not doing that. You guys can open one if you want." [No]
"I have forgotten that our Demmy is a church guy. Too serious and boring." They laughed at him.
"Why do we become friends with him in the first place?" Fareed asked.
"Because you need a guy that would drive your drunk ass home after the party," Demilade answered and they laughed.
"So damn right." Charles agreed, laughing.
Demilade was their driver while they were in school. When they go to a party, they call him to drive them to their hostel. Or if he was with them, he was the only one who won't get drunk.
"So my boyfriend was once your driver?" Lola queried, also amused at the revelation.
"Yes, o. He saves our asses a lot of time." Charles replied.
"And he is not just our driver. He was the brain of the group. When everyone is drooling over a girl, Demmy is drooling over a new book that his favorite author just released. Imagine?" Adam exclaimed. And everyone chuckled.
"That's why our popsy loves him," Fareed added.
"Yeah." They agreed.
"But he is fun too. He gave us a free ticket to the club he works, he lied for us especially Charles and Dewale of course." Adam said.
"And he is fun to tease," Fareed concluded with a smirk.
Lola just looked at Demilade. He had a small smile on his face, not a smirk as he listened to his friends. And she smiled proudly at him too.
"But anyway Demmy, I love the idea of your new wonderland. It's excellence bro." Charles complimented Demilade.
"Thank you." Demilade appreciated.
His friends weren't the only one who was impressed by him, Lola was. She was very proud of him. And she grinned at him with pride.
When they were done, Demilade folded the blueprint to its original form and leaned back crossing his arms around his girlfriend.
"So Demmy, I already made a reservation for all of us in Prince Waikiki Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii."
"Isn't that in the state?"
"Yes." They nodded. "It's a few miles away from Sunset Beach."
"Wow!" Lola exclaimed. Demilade looked at her and smiled. He guessed she wasn't used to his friends and how they can spend so much money for the sake of cruising.
"I thought it was somewhere in Nigeria," Lola said shyly.
Charles chuckled. "What's the fun of it if we are still here in Nigeria? That place, we are going to have the first-class treatment and the best fun."
