“Yanyan?”

He called me Yanyan?! A nickname made by a hot captain for a simple girl like me? Thatʼs impossible! I really am dreaming.

“Kuroo?” I did the same thing, I called out his name.

“Tetsurou.” he corrected me.

I gasped because I forgot that was what I should call him. Yeah yeah, Tetsurou, it is.

“Youʼre so cute while youʼre cheering for me.”

“Really?” I asked. He nodded with a smile in his thin lips. I immediately looked down at the floor. “It was kinda embarrassing...”

“What are you saying? Youʼre so cute!” he repeated.

Yeah, repeat it as much as you want. It was so pissing me off. I was so embarrassed and I just hate it when someoneʼs making fun of me. If I just didnʼt really like you, I would have kicked you because of how loud you are.

“And by the way...”

His voice suddenly changed so I looked up to see him. His face is serious! OMG! What will he do to me? Is he angry? Iʼm overthinking, what the hell?

“Y-yes Tetsurou?” My response was so dense.

“What did you say lately?” he asked. I almost jumped in panic. “Could you repeat it?”

“What do you mean?” Iʼm more nervous now. I know what he is referring to but I just denied it.

“When you were cheering for me.” he said, reminding me of what had happened earlier.

“I said ‘Go go! Kuroo Tetsurou!ʼ thatʼs what Iʼve said.”

“No no.” he shook his head as he closed his eyes tightly for a moment. Iʼm confused now. He looked back at me, “The other one.”

“I only said, ‘Go go! Kuroo Tetsurou!ʼ.” I repeated. Itʼs so nerve-racking. He should have just pretended he hadnʼt heard anything. Another shame, dear self.

He took a deep breath, “You said Iʼm your man, right?” he asked.

Omg, Iʼm dead. Did he really said heʼs my man? Did he really claimed it was him? Oh my captain!

He smirked, “Then it means youʼre my—”

I cut him off, “Friend.”

“Friend?” he repeats. I just have a palm on my face. “Iʼm your man so it means you are my woman.”

“No no no! You misunderstood that!” I denied.

“Silly girl...” he laughed softly.

“Iʼm not silly!” I rebuke him. “You keep on laughing at me, Iʼm not even joking.”

“Oh, sorry sorry.” he suddenly closed his mouth.

I just sighed at what we were saying to each other. Later, his companions agreed to go home. His friends have gone in a different direction. There were only the two of us left. He turned to me and I turned to him.

“Where do you live, my woman?” he asked. I should counter him by calling me ‘my woman’.

Oh my Captain, I donʼt even know where in the world I am. But I feel like I am far from my home. Maybe Iʼll just be honest with him that I donʼt have a place to stay now because Iʼm not at home. And I can’t go back there because I don’t have money. Or do I even need money to come back home?

“You wonʼt believe me if I tell you where Iʼm from.” I answer him. Suddenly the whole ambiance was sad, as I was tainted with grief.

He really wonʼt believe me. He didnʼt believe me earlier when I told him he didnʼt exist. He wonʼt believe me either even if I answer his question honestly.

“Why? Where are you from?” he asked again.

Tears welled up in my eyes, “In another universe.”

His forehead furrowed,“How did that happen?” he asked seriously.

“I fell asleep then when I woke up, Iʼm at your court. I didnʼt even know why Iʼm there.” I took a deep breath. It hurts to think that I donʼt even know why I came to this place. I don’t know why we met today. How did all this happen? I have no idea this place. I am just a nobody. Iʼm a stranger to him.

“What do you mean you were from another universe?” his forehead furrowed even more. The reaction on his face was also sad.

It hurts me like hell when I saw him giving me that look. I also feel sad whenever he feels sad. I just... couldnʼt bare it.

“Youʼre just part of my hallucinations, I guess?”

“You are not hallucinating.” he cupped my cheeks and looked into my eyes, “We are with each other. Iʼm now part of your life because you met me and I met you.”

Kuroo, Iʼm falling, please catch me...

“Does that mean,” I bit my lower lip, “Iʼm part of yours too?” I added a question.

“Yes, my woman.” he smiled as he wiped my tears in my left cheek. The touch of him mad my cheeks even hotter. I can feel it.

I smiled too, I feel his warm comfort. I can’t believe my favorite character is holding me right now while wiping my cheek soaked from the successive drops of tears.

“Itʼs very hard to explain how I got here. But I have a favor to ask.” I told him.

“What is it?”

Iʼm embarrassed but I really need to ask for this favor or I wonʼt have a place to stay now. “Can you let me stay in your place? Just for tonight.” I asked.

“S-sure... If you really donʼt have a place to stay tonight,” he gave me a sigh. “Iʼll let you sleep in my room then.” he added as his face lightened.

“Thank you so much.” I was so overwhelmed. He just smiled at me.

Today, I can hardly count on my fingers how many times he smiled at me. His smile is very charming. Heʼs such a sweet guy. I can feel it. He shows his sweet side to me. I feel so special, to be honest. This is such a dream come true.

We exited the covered court and walked to where his bike was. He told me that he was staying nearby. Of course they are only here temporarily, because they are only here in this city because of the practice match. He guided me so I can ride his bike. Iʼm really very lucky now.

“Put your arms around me, you might fall.” he commanded.

I feel like Iʼm the luckiest girl in the world. And thatʼs all thanks to this man.

My man...
