MIZAKI GROANED IN ANNOYANCE WHEN SHE HEARD HER PHONE RINGING LOUDLY. She slept not long ago, it was barely thirty minutes.
Y/N :) Incoming Call...
Accept Decline
She groaned in annoyance as she answered her niece's call.
"Hey-"
[....M-Mizaki...], She heard Mikey's voice. She could barely understand what he was saying, he was breathing heavily, she could say that he is distressed.
"A-Are you okay? What happened?"
[...huf...Y-Y/N...! S-she...I-I didn't...], Mikey on the other line was panicking.
"W-Wait, Mikey. I can't understand what you are saying, so calm down a little... Follow my lead, okay? Inhale.... Exhale...."
He did what she said. His breathing is calmer than earlier.
"Now, tell me what happened."
[Y/N.... S-She... Her nose b-bled, t-then... Everything happened so fast..!]

WHEN MIZAKI ARRIVED AT THE HOSPITAL, she immediately saw Mikey curled up against a wall. His hair messed up and his eyes are puffy.
When he saw the older L/N, he immediately stood up and met her eyes.
The older L/N walked the distance between them. Mikey was waiting for a slap or punch, but instead, she engulfed him with a hug.
Her heart crumpled when she heard sobs coming from the young boy.
"She'll be okay, right?", he whispered.
Even Mizaki herself didn't know.
When the doctor came, she gestured Mikey to come inside Y/N's room.
"Go on, I'll talk to him...", she smiled.
Mikey did what she said and proceeded to come inside, his heart immediately crumpling for the scene in front of him.
It pained him to see his love having tubes attached onto her body.
I should've met her sooner.
