Your head turned again to the room you were in. Pretty big for a room, but compared to the rest of the castle, one could consider it a small room. It was a strange, everything room. A couple bookshelves held old, wearing books on them. A fireplace with two sofas near it rested along the wall in the near center of the room, and further off by the massive wall of glass was a small table. Only two seats stood around the tall, small circular table. On top of it was the finest setup of napkins, small plates, and little fancy cups on top. Around those were a plethora of other small dishes and silverware you didn't quite know the purpose of.
"A bit flammable... isn't it?" Your head darted past the table where another doorway mirroring the one you had entered stood. Standing in it, Herobrine leaned partially on the frame. His outfit wasn't the same as before. He still had the button up vest, dressy black pants, and puffy sleeves, but the heavily decorative armor was gone. "...Cotton.." He clarified, pushing himself from the wall with his shoulders and pointing at your dress as he stepped forwards.
"Oh- --oh, oh. Heh- I- see.." You faked a confident smile. A tiny smirk breeched Herobrine's mouth as he chuckled so quietly, you wondered if it was even him.
"What kind of ..'get-up'.. is that anyway? I mean.. I assume you think it's fancy.. At least it isn't the rags you were wearing before.." He spoke, with each step brushing his heels along the carpet, thumbs in his pockets as he turned his head away from you to look out the window. Your smile dropped. It was the best you had. A plain blue sleeveless, thick-strapped dress with a single yellow ribbon tied around it in a pretty bow. It had been a birthday present for you when you turned 16, which wasn't all too long ago now. The man noticed the drop in, at least your portrayed mood, and his attention again turned to you. "Please...have some refreshments." He pointed his hand toward the table. Slowly, you sat down, trying to look as fancy as the dishes set out before you. Already, you knew you were failing.
"What is...this?" You asked, gesturing to all of the random items set around. The cups, the centerpieces, were probably the most confusing. "...Coffee..?"
"Ever heard of tea.. before?" You shook your head. "Hhhhh.. of course you haven't." Then the man snapped his fingers. Another enderman, looking directly ahead as to not make eye contact with anyone, teleported at the table, facing the large window, one arm behind his back and the other holding out a tray.
The king then took his seat across from you. That same tightness from before built in your chest; he was much taller up close.
"What flavor do you want?"
"Flavor..?"
"Are you serious...?"
"...."
"Fine, I'll pick a flavor for you then.." Annoyed as he was, the man also had a slight bit of intrigue toward your complete ignorance. He pulled two cloth bags on strings from the tray, as well as a steaming kettle full of water. "First, you pour the water.." He began to narrate. "Then, you dip the bag.. and, finally, you wait." He then grabbed your cup and did the same for that one. Handing it back to you, you watched with curiosity as a brownish color slowly seeped from the thin bag into the water. Bobbing the thing up and down by it's string seemed to help make it go faster. "M'chm.." The Nether Lord cleared his throat. You dropped what you were doing immediately, sitting up straight as a board with your shoulders back as far as they could go. "..You are probably wondering why you are here." He lead on.
"Yep.." you spoke softly as you nodded a little.
"I'm assuming you have heard a lot about me and the other Immortals.."
"Yeah.. some stuff at least." You mumbled. He paused.
"Surely you know of Shälii."
"Recognize the name, buu-"
