Stiffly, he stood before the adults. It was Que. After an uneasy pause, Que pulled from a satchel at his side: a scroll. It was decorated in fine golds and green. The writing on it a beautiful, mastered cursive writing. The letter was directly from Herobrine himself.

Clearing his throat, Que began reading what was on the paper. "By decree of Law 33 of the Immortals' Binding, Herobrine, Lord of The Nether, is allowed a command over people that are not under his rule this one command!.. And when he envokes Law 33, the Immortals' Binding allows him right to bypass the law of this land for a time, only within the rules of this law shall he be allowed usage of this law--!"

"Why are you here!?!" Uncle Anderson spat at the monster. The wither skeleton was taken off guard for a moment. He had only just begun.

"Do the people not wish for me to continue?"

"Oh, quit blabbering! What is all of this about!?" Your mom shouted from beside your dad.

"I- I..." Quickly, Que began running through the protocol. A little off put, he scanned through the scroll's long message, rolling through it until he finally found a part that would answer their question. "Herobrine hereby decrees an immediate meeting with the Sword Holder: the girl who, twelve passings ago, retrieved the Nether's Blade from within its bedrock casing. If not returned to him at once, the girl's family will be met with hardships unimaginable to any mortal soul." And, with that, Que closed the scroll. Your family was left dumbfounded.

"Uhh, I'm sorry... But you got the wrong family. We don't even know what a...Nether's Blade even is!"

"You dare claim Herobrine's Court no more than fools?!" Que thumped.

"A what now?"

"You heard the letter! If you refuse, Herobrine has the right to declare war against you! Is that really what you want?!" All stepped back in shock.

"Woah woah, listen." Your dad rose his hands to head level, respectfully trying to plead his case. "I respect your council, and I sure don't want to enter into any wars with THE Herobrine- ...but... I have no idea what you are talking about." It was then that Danny rushed forwards, panting, realizing it was a big mistake to keep such a secret from their parents.

"You want (Y/n), right?" Recognizing her name, Que nodded. "Okay... She's out in the fields... Please.." still panting, "be our guests until she returns." Then he spun around, grabbing both his parents' shoulders and whispering into both their ears at once. "Everything's going to be okay, got it? We met these guys on our last Nether trip. As long as we do as they say, they won't hurt us. Got it?... Sorry for not telling you. I'll explain everything as we wait for her." Then they sent your little cousin, Lanna, after you. She always seemed to know where you were. It was like a sixth sense to her.

----

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)!!!" Lanna cried, bounding across the field toward you.

"Oh no.. What did I do this time..?" You groaned, hopping down from the boulders.

"There was these big dark skeletons!" Lanna began to explain. Your eyes widened immediately. "They looked so fancy with red and gold on them! And- and! They had a big box!" Before she could even reach you, you were off, sprinting full speed towards the house. You half expected smoke to be rising at this point, but were relieved to see not a trace of destruction as you arrived.

Heaving breath after breath, you entered your house through the back door.

"Ah! There she is! What a delight it is to see you again.." Your mom announced, faking a smile. You could see she was clearly more than annoyed to now know of the secret you and Danny had kept from her, but was keeping it cool in front of your guests. Speaking of which, ten or more wither skeletons sat or stood around the dining table, unable to eat anything offered to them but at least enjoying your family's attempts at hospitality. "Is that really.. the girl you are looking for?" Your mom's head turned to Que. It was obvious to you; she was trembling.
