Mo Bei looked at the expressionless Sheng Eunha at the hotel and he couldn’t help but be angry, “He made it so obvious. Are you going to continue this and head towards the wrong path?”

Sheng Eunha bitterly laughed. “If I don’t head on the wrong path, what else can I do? Mo Bei, I had persisted and tried my best for him all these years. “If you can’t do it, what do you plan to do? Intervene between the two of them and become the mistress?”

As expected, her face turned worse when Mo Bei asked her that. He mocked himself for being stupid. He was actually fooled by Jungkook and Sheng Eunha!

He calmed down and said meaningfully, “Eunha, if he could say that publicly during a news conference, it proves that he doesn’t have you in his heart. Why must you lie to yourself?!”

“I’m not lying to myself!” Sheng Eunha said loudly. “Jungkookis supposed to mine. I just went abroad and now, everything changed. Mo Bei, this shouldn’t be the case! This shouldn’t be!”

“Time can change a lot of things. Eunha, give up. Jeon Jungkook likes Xin Lisa.”

“No! No! It’s not my style to just give up without trying. At least, I won’t feel ashamed if I fail after trying.”

Mo Bei stared at her determined expression and he suddenly laughed. “Sheng Eunha, what about me? Who do you take me to be? You think that I would just stupidly wait here for you, no matter how far you walk off to, just like Jeon Jungkook?”

“Mo Bei, didn’t we say that we won’t mention that matter again?”

Mo Bei laughed helplessly. “Yes, I won’t mention it because I’m always the one investing in this. Eunha, sometimes I would ask myself, why am I doing all of this for you? But, maybe after a few years, this question wouldn’t be as important anymore.”

“Mo Bei…”

“I’m just worried for you. Seeing that you have the spirit once again, I think I don’t need to stay here anymore. I still need to return to Shengjin City to handle some matters. I’ll be going now.”

“Mo Bei…” Sheng Eunha stared at his lonely silhouette and didn’t know what to say for some time. 

The second day, Xin Lisa was about to get ready for work after coming downstairs when she saw Jungkook wearing a suit and waiting for her in the parking lot.

Xin Lisa wanted to walk around him when Jungkookbnoticed her and immediately walked up. “Good morning.”

“President Jeon, what are you planning to do?”

“I’m bringing you to work.”

“Thank you but there is no need.”

“I bought breakfast.” Jungkook stopped her from walking to the right. 

Xin Lisa looked expressionlessly at him and walked over to the other side. However, Jungkook stopped her again. “I’m just scared that you would head to work early so I had been waiting here for you since early in the morning.” In other words, he had been waiting for a long time. 

Xin Lisa thought this was funny. “I didn’t make you wait for me.”

“Hm? So can I take you to work?”

“I can drive myself.” Xin Lisa rejected.

“Can’t you give me a chance to perform?” Jungkook believed even more that this woman had a heart of stone.

“The chances are for people who need it. President Jeon, I think you should forget about it.”  

After Xin Lisa left him behind and saw that he didn’t chase after her, she couldn’t help but wonder how come he was so easy to talk to today.

When she arrived at the TV Station, the colleague in front of the reception desk said that she needed to sign something. Xin Lisa was stunned. 

What did she have? She didn’t remember having a delivery.

When she saw a bouquet of brilliant red roses, she was frozen.

The bright red color attracted many female colleagues. Someone asked, “Did President Jeon gift this bouquet of roses?”

Xin Lisa responded without thinking, “Impossible!” In the original book, Jungkook seemed to have never gifted Sheng Eunha flowers.

The colleagues all gestured about and said, “We don’t believe this!”

“Won’t we find out by looking at the card?!”

“Lisa, Lisa, quickly look! Quickly look!”

“Don’t be shy, Lisa. Don’t hide this from us. Just look at the signature.”

In the end, at the bottom of the pink card was Jungkook, written in bold cursive calligraphy. 

“Wow! So romantic! President Jeon is so considerate!”

“Lisa, you’re so blessed!”

Xin Lisa was confused. He actually gifted this? Jungkook was being serious?
