While being pushed by Gu Sana to leave, Xin Lisa was still puzzled. She really wasn’t trying to fool anyone, so what do they want her to say?

While leading the way, Xin Lisa was deep in thought, so she didn’t say a word. Of course, the most important reason for her silence was that she didn’t want to talk to Jungkook.

But Jungkook wanted to talk with her! Although he could see her walk quickly ahead without looking back, he couldn’t help but glance at her back a couple of times. When he couldn’t take it anymore, Jungkook finally lengthened his stride to walk up to her side.

Assistant Wang saw the whole thing from the back, his eyes widening from shock; then he purposely put a little distance between the couple and himself. He had to pretend that he didn’t see the boss’s embarrassing moment.

Xin Lisa noticed something unusual after walking a few steps, she looked at Jungkook out of the side of her eye and frowned, “What are you doing?”

Jungkook countered, “How are you going to answer your classmate’s question?”

“What question?” Xing Lisa said without a care.

Jungkook gaze deepened as he looked at her.

Xin Lisa vaguely thought it might be that question concerning him. But that question doesn’t even need any brain cells. She answered without thinking, “I will tell the truth.  You don’t have to worry, this is not Shengjin City. I’m not dumb enough to tie myself to you. Oh yeah, you also don’t have to worry, I won’t destroy your innocence.”

Upon hearing her words, Jungkook stopped and sneered, “Xin Lisa, do you know how you will meet your end?”

Hearing him, Xin Lisa stopped and turned back to look at him in terror.

Jungkook felt his emotions finally settle down, so he continued walking. While walking, he said, “Because of your obliviousness!”

Xin Lisa rolled her eyes, she really wants to grab a brick and throw it on his head! Humph! Why are you so proud of yourself?

I must tolerate him! Xin Lisa told herself to bear with it! She just needed to bring him to the lab building and then make a quick getaway.

When they arrived at their destination, the principal came out to welcome Jeon Jungkook.

When Xin Lisa saw Jungkook being surrounded by everyone, she withdrew quickly, while they were all clustered around him. She looked back at Jungkook cautiously during her escape, and thought, ‘He’s indeed the male lead. He always has the halo effect surrounding him. The author had to be his biological mother!’

While Xin Lisa was looking back, she wasn’t paying attention to the path and almost hit the person in front of her. Good thing that this time she didn’t throw herself on to someone’s chest. Xia Eunwoo reacted quickly, holding on to her shoulder and moved her gently a little distance away.

Xin Lisa realizing that she almost hit him again, apologized immediately, “I forgot to pay attention to the path.”

“Yeah, I know.” Xia Eunwoo said, smiling, “This wasn’t the first time.”

Xing Lisa felt awkward. The corners of her mouth curved into an apologetic smile, then she changed the topic and asked, “Is it starting?”

“Wait for about 10 more minutes.”

“Okay.”

The two of them had already met in the library. After that encounter, they saw each other a few more times afterward. Xiao Eunwoo was easy to get along and fun to talk to. With all of that, the two of them gradually became closer.

Xia Eunwoo examined her red Chinese-styled dress and praised, “Not bad, very pretty.”

Xin Lisa responded with a smile, “Thank you, I’m still not used to it yet.”

“Is it your first time wearing it?”

“Kind of.”

“If you have a chance, you should wear it more often. It looks very nice.”

Xin Lisa smiled.

Because the two of them had to do things afterward, they separated after talking for a bit.

While searching for Xin Lisa’s figure in the crowd, Jungkook saw Xin Lisa talking sweetly to Xia Eunwoo. He immediately narrowed his eyes. She had never shown him such a pure and sweet smile!
