After that, I had one of Oikawa's pancakes, which wasn't as bad as I expected. We played some games, and he then forced me to sleep on his couch, which made it the second night in a row where I didn't get much rest. At least he lent me one of his shirts...

With yet another headache, the brown-haired boy talking my ears off, and my back hurting a lot, I enter the classroom in a bad mood. Please tell me my bag is around here somewhere...

I frown when I see that it is not at my table, nor at the teacher's desk. "Hold up," I interrupt my friend, "I left my stuff here yesterday, right?"

He stops telling his story and looks around. "I think so?"

"Shit," I say softly, "I need it, though."

"Well, you can always stay another night~" he chirps right as Iwaizumi and Hanamaki walk in.

"Geez, Matsu, this is heavy!" my best friend groans as he puts down my bag in front of me. "Just what did you put in here?"

Relief washes over me as I quickly go through it, checking if all of my belongings are still there. "Ah, you're a hero," I thank him. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah. My arms are burning, though. Carrying two bags to and from my house is hell." With a short sigh, he goes to sit at his table.

The frown on my face returns. "You took it home with you?"

"Well, you didn't have your phone, and Oikawa wasn't picking up, sooo..." he shrugs.

"Ah, I must've missed it," the third boy joins in. "Mattsun and I were having so much fun last night, after all~"

"Ew," I reply instantly. "Iwa, keep this man in check, please."

I turn to our other friend, who has just been staring at us this whole time. Something's off. I don't like it.

"You're hiding something." He ignores most of what we just said, focusing on Oikawa instead. "What's up?"

The brunet visibly panics, eyeing me nervously like an idiot. "Nothing?"

I forgot that this outgoing, energetic, continuously talking boy isn't that much of a problem by himself. If you tell him to keep quiet, he might just do so, if he feels like it. No, Oikawa alone isn't much of a threat at all. It's the fact that he has someone watching over him, noticing every single change, not backing down until he's sure everything is fine. How scary.

The last thing I need is more people finding out about my secret, so I send a glare back. Don't talk about it. Just change topics or distract him.

"Ah! Iwa-chan, I have something for you~" Luckily, he seems to understand.

While he drags his crush off to his table, I turn to Hanamaki, who has started to zone off. "Thanks for taking care of my stuff," I tell him, knowing I haven't worded it well enough due to our friends interrupting us.

"Of course," he answers, giving me a very slight smile. "It didn't feel right to just leave it there. Seemed kinda unsafe."

As I am about to apologize for Oikawa dragging me off, the man in question pushes something in my hands before running off again. "Mattsun made these just for you, Makki~"

I move my gaze to whatever I'm holding right now and find the cookies my friend had put away 'for his parents'. Although I want to be subtle about looking daggers at him, I also want him to notice it. If he tries to act on the things we discussed yesterday, I'll end him.

Although I can easily get myself out of this situation, I don't appreciate the attempt to make things harder for me. I should stop him before he gets too comfortable with it.
