You know my uncle is one of the most famous directors, he even directed Solitude the movie where Emilie Graham De Vanily  played in, she even came to me for some acting tips" Lila lied earning gasps and praises.

Marinette smirked, Lila had make one mistake now, her kingdom of lies will come crashing down.

"Hey Lila, do you think I can meet her" Marinette asked 

Lila looked ta her for a minute before replying 

"Sure Marinette anything for a friend, you can meet her this afternoon...you she also said I was better than her own son but I had to stop her because he almost heard her and I didn't want to hurt him"

"You're so sweet Lila" Alya said hugging the rat-I mean Lila

Adrien froze in his seat, and looked at Lila with painful eyes

"Say Lila when last did you talk to her" Marinette asked looking Adrien straight in the eyes.

Many thoughts crowded Adrien's mind as he remembered telling Marinette to take the high road and to ignore Lila since she was not hurting anyone , now he had realised what she had meant.

"Oh well I talked to just yesterday you know she misses me so much" Lila said emphazing on the 'misses me so much'

"That's awesome.........just one thing..........you made one tiny  mistake  in lying, you should really do your research "Marinette said 

"Oh not again can you stfu Maribitvh no wants to hear you"Alya said flicking her off

"Do you know that Emilie's last name after she married?" Marinette questioned

The akuma class thought for a second and then Nino realised

"Don't tell me it's Adrien's..................."Nino said as he looked at Adrien worriedly 

"Yeah" Adrien said softly barely audible to those around him and gave him a weak smile.

"Adrien's what??" Alya questioned and looked at her boyfriend for answers but he gave none but instead patted Adrien's back, trying to comfort him.

"You know Alya you failed being a reporter from the moment you believed Lila" Marinette said 

"What do you mean you bitvh I am an excellent reporter and have a good reputation unlike you " Alya shouted

"You failed....because you forgot the most important part........fact checking" Marinette said smiling at Lila, who was now worried of her lies being exposed so she sat down on the last row to hide herself.

"Go ahead search up,search up Emilie De Vanily" Marinette ordered and motioned to Alya's phone, as the Akuma class stayed silent,watch carefully.

"Alright I will and I'll prove you wrong!" She yelled.

'tap tap tap tap tap'the sound of typing was heard as the class watch with bated breathe

"I............her name was Emilie De Vanily...........but........she married and b-became Emilie Agreste......."Alya stuttered out looking up from her phone with guilty eyes and looked at the proud Marinette,

The akuma class gasped and looked at Lila , who was currently trying to escape through the locked back door of the class and then looked at Marinette,who had a smug on her face, her arms fold and her eyebrows raised.

"I'm sure all of you know who it is........Emilie Agreste aka Adrien missing mom who disappeared many years ago." She chuckled 

"I- Marinette we're so so so sorry" Alya pleaded heading towards the bluenette with pleading eyes but Marinette didn't replied but just turned her head away in denial as the class held their heads down in guilt, they had believed a filthy rat instead of their friend.

"Why wouldn't you talk??" Alya asked  looking at her desperately 

"Cause someone once told me that nobdoy wants to hear me talk and nothing I say is true  and I just lie about Lila"Marinette replied with venom in her voice walking down the stairs of classroom.She turned infront of Adrien's desk .

"Plus I should've took the high road just like Adrien said because remember she wasn't hurting anyone"Marinette continued looking at Adrien, who was trying to hold back tears, his 'soulmate now hated him' but she would forgive him, Marinette exited the class, leaving everyone shocked still.

"There's still a chance to get my princess back" Adrien whispered to himself and exited the classroom to look for Marinette.

Felinette 

"Marinette my love come b-"he said before he saw her hugging and kissing a familiar figure, he tried to hide himself but they had already heard him and turned around,Adrien then saw someone he thought he never would.........Felix....his cousin, worst of all she was dating him.Tears flowed down his cheeks as he rushed towards the couple, but Felix  shielded Marinette, wrapping his arms around her tightly

"Stay away Agreste, she's mine" Felix said hugging Marinette more tightly and placing a light kiss on her lips and then led her to the car , leaving Adrien in shock and tears.

He realised that could've been him 

-if only he stayed by her side

-if only he had not ignored her 

-if only he had trusted her 

-If only he had not betrayed her

But instead she was dating Felix, his cousin, the person he hated the most 

He sat on the stairs in tears as rain poured on him,as he remembered their first meeting and chanting if only he had -

Alright I was so lazy doing this but I hope you enjoyed it
