Y/N POV:

I laid on the bed, my face slammed into the pillow. Kyou sat awkwardly next to me, looking around the room as if he was avoiding making me uncomfortable. I felt numb, and didn't know what to do.

I turned to him, "You know Kyou, this isn't my first time getting cheated on."

"What?" Kyou finally looked at me. The room was quite dark, just this small disco ball that lit the room. I couldn't see his face that well, so I couldn't tell exactly how he reacted.

"Yeah," I closed my eyes as I spoke to him, "I was cheated on by my first boyfriend." I inhaled, before exhaling deeply, "I should've known though, so I guess it's my fault."

"What do you mean by that?"

"He was rushing the relationship," I explained, "Pressured me to do things and stuff." I felt him shift on the bed, but I didn't open my eyes. He didn't say anything, and I was grateful for that.

There was a knock on the door suddenly, making me roll off the bed. I opened it and saw Kuroo look around me and into the room, before looking at me and smiling, "What are y'all doing up here?"

"Sleeping," I told him. I looked over at Kyou who seemed to be hesitant. He looked at Kuroo in a confused, but on edge way. I shook the feeling off, thinking I was jumping into conclusions.

I opened the door more and let Kuroo in. He went to the window and leaned against the sill as I went to lay next to Kyou again. Kuroo chuckled, "Well, Hinata left early." I frowned at the thought that Hinata didn't even tell me. I had the heavy feeling that we were growing apart, but I shook the feeling again, blaming it on how late it is.

Kuroo turned to us, "So are y'all a thing now?"

I looked up at him, "N-"

"Why?" My eyes widened at Kyou's response. I turned to him, but didn't say anything.

Kuroo narrowed his eyes and seemed to bite the inside of his mouth, before smiling at me. "Y/N, can you go downstairs and check on Oikawa real quick? Make sure he's not doing anything weird."

"Huh?"

"He only listens to you," Kyou agreed. While they both talked to me, they looked like they were both glaring at each other. The room became heavy, and I stood up and decided it was best to leave the thickening air.

I left the room, and walked down the stairs slowly. My head wasn't doing the best, and I looked down at my phone to see it was past midnight. I rubbed my temples and groaned when I heard screeching in the living room.

Spin the bottle was on the roll, and I leaned against the entrance as I ran through the people playing, and realized Oikawa wasn't even there. Neither was anyone else I knew. I blinked in confusion and rubbed my eyes to make sure. I started looking around the house, before ending up at the patio.

Everyone was inside playing, leaving red cups and other things floating in the pool. I found them sitting in front of the pool in complete silence, staring up at a window. I walked to them and looked up, seeing Kuroo and Kyou talking. I paused.

Kyou seemed pissed, and Kuroo looked like he was just playing around with him. It was weird seeing them like this, and I was curious about what they were talking about. "Y/N."

I turned around and saw Daichi wave me over. He patted his lap and I went to lay against his chest as we all sat in silence, hearing the music play loudly from the house. "What are they talking about?"

"No clue," Tanaka responded, swishing his drink around.

"We've been watching them go for just a few minutes," Nishinoya said.

I nodded, "Why aren't you all playing spin the bottle?"

"I just did that so everyone would be in one place," Oikawa chuckled and smirked at his idea.

"Don't you have class tomorrow Y/N?" Akaashi asked me.

I shrugged, "Yeah, but it's at noon, so I'll be fine."

I heard a thud and looked up, seeing Kuroo was shoved at the window. I blinked, thinking about Kuroo looking out the window. He knew they were watching, I thought. I turned to all of them, seeing them watching what was going on. Kyou looked genuinely pissed, and not his normal pissed face.

I stood up. "Woah woah, where are you going?"

"I'm leaving," I said, "Akaashi was right, it's getting late."

"Let me take you home-"

"No," I said sharply. They all hesitated, I didn't know what overcame me, "Kyou took me here, he's taking me back." I walked back into the house and passed the bottle on goers. My heart pumped in my ears as I kicked the door open. Kuroo had Kyou's shirt crumpled in his fist while Kyou was doing the same with Kuroo's. They both froze when noticing me.

"Kyou, you're taking me home. Now." They let each other go quickly and looked worriedly at me. They opened their mouths and I glared at them, "Shut up. We're leaving." I turned and left the room, going down the stairs for the last time. My phone vibrated in my pocket, making me more on edge.

Kyou caught up to me, and looked like he wanted to say something, but didn't. I pulled the door to the house open abruptly. I put my hands out, and Kyou threw the keys into my hands after freezing for a split second.

I raced out, and shifted gears as I sped home. Kyou didn't say anything at all, and my phone never stopped vibrating. I sighed angrily and slammed on the brakes at a red light, making Kyou fall forward. I grabbed my phone and saw multiple missed calls from Hinata. I shut down my phone and threw it at the cupholder and tightened my grip on the wheel.

"Why the hell did you bring me to that party?"

Kyou was silent for a moment, "Oikawa said it would be good for you."

"Right," I stepped on the gas, "And you believed him?"

"He knew you more than I did," he mumbled. I rolled my eyes as I pulled up to the parking lot. I took the keys out of the ignition and tossed it to him. I grabbed my phone and pushed the car door open.

"Wait, Y/N," Kyou grabbed at the back of my shirt.

I paused, "Let go."

"I'm sorry, I didn't even-"

"Let go of me," I looked at him, "Now."

"Why are you even mad?" Kyou said angrily, "I didn't even do anything to you. I tried making it as comfortable as it can be!"

"Maybe it's about you almost fighting my ex and his best friend in one night!" I yelled back. I slapped his hand away, "Are you serious, Kyou?"

"Why is it such a big deal?" He jammed his finger at me, "You don't even know anything. All you do is run away from your problems, and the people who are trying to help you fix them."

"Shut up," I clenched my jaw, "You don't know me. You even said that you don't know me, so stop talking like you do."

"It's funny how much you know about a person by watching them get through a breakup."

I glared at him, "You've probably never been in love before. This probably looks so silly to you, doesn't it?"

"It isn't love!" He started raising his voice again, "What made you think it was love?"

I stopped. How did I know it was love? "It doesn't matter," I pushed the car door open more, "Just stay out of my business."

"There you go," Kyou gestured, "Running away from your problems again."

"They aren't problems if I can live without fixing them," I stood up.

"Wait, Y/N. There is something you should know-"

"No." I said sternly, "Stay out of my life." I slammed the car door loudly, realizing our yelling probably echoed the dark late streets. I mentally apologized to my neighbors, and left to my enclosed dorm room.
