Y/N POV:

I dragged myself to my door, grabbing at the handle. My head was pounding, working the full day. I finished my water bottle fast and was severely dehydrated. I sifted through my pockets until finally pulling out my keys. I stuck the key in and turned the knob, pushing it open.

I blinked at the person on my bed. "Kyoutani?"

He sat up, his eyes widened, "Y/N, you're home."

"Yeah," I leaned against the doorway, "What are you doing here?"

Kyou looked around, not making eye contact with me. I leaned forward, getting suspicious. He turned to me, rubbing the back of his neck, "I wanted to know if you would wanna go to a party with me?"

I sighed and walked over to my desk, straightening out some papers, "Thanks, but parties aren't really my thing."

"That's fine," he said almost frantically, "I- Just please go with me." I looked over at him, seeing he was furrowing his eyebrows, staring at the wall angrily.

I smiled, "Okay." I stood up straight, "Give me like 5 minutes to get ready."

*Half an hour later*

We pulled up to the driveway, music being heard from inside the house, lights peeking out the curtains. I got out of the car, hesitating before closing the car door. I cleared my throat, "How long are we planning to be here?"

He looked over at me, "If you start feeling uncomfortable or want to leave, let me know."

"Oh, well I'm-"

"I'm serious," his face didn't change, "But try having fun." He turned and started walking to the entrance. I never thought Kyoutani would be like this, making me nervous.

He opened the door, not even thinking of knocking. The music became loud as we entered, mixed with many voices all around us. He closed the door behind us, and lightly grabbed my wrist, pulling me through the crowd. I recognized some people, but the different lights flickering in my face made it hard to distinguish everyone.

"Y/N!" I looked over to see Oikawa waving over at me. My blood ran cold as I saw who was sitting in between Kuroo and Hinata. He looked tired, his eyebags showing. His hair was growing long, and it looked untamed. He wore a simple hoodie and jeans.

Hinata stood up, smiling at me. "Well look at that," he teased, "I thought you hated parties."

"I do," I smirked back at him. I hugged Iwa and some others as they greeted me. I looked over to see Kyoutani talking to Kenma, and neither of them looked happy. I was about to walk toward them to see what was going on, but someone grabbed my shoulder.

"Hey Y/N," I smiled at Kuroo's voice.

I looked at him, "This is what you meant when you said 'see you later' huh?" I pointed at him, "Very sly of you Mr. Tetsurou."

He chuckled, "We thought Kyoutani would be the only person to get you out here."

"We?"

"Duh," Lev smiled as he appeared behind Kuroo.

"LEV?!" I ran and jumped in his open arms.

"I MISSED YOU Y/N!" He yelled over the music.

"Where's my love?" Yaku smiled as I climbed down from Lev. I gave him the biggest hug ever.

"Ugh, I missed your hugs Yaku," I froze, then looked at him, "Wait a minute, why are you all here? I thought you were both studying abroad?"

"We decided to come back," Lev nodded.

"Isn't it great!" Nishinoya wrapped his arm around Yaku, "I got my best friend back!"

"Huh?" Tanaka grabbed Nishinoya's shirt, "What about me?!" I started laughing as they argued.

I turned around, seeing Hinata in between Kyou and Kenma, who seemed to be yelling at each other. I rarely saw Kenma express any emotion, but this looked serious. I took a step towards them, but Oikawa came in front of me.

"Everyone!" He announced to the party, "Let's spin the bottle!" The party goers all cheered.

I was reluctant, not wanting to mess with other people. Someone grabbed my hand and pulled me away from the group. I looked up at Kyou, who was glaring at everyone as they dispersed.

He looked down at me, "Do you want to leave?"

"But we just got here?" Sure, I hated parties. But everyone was here, for the first time in a long time. "I just don't want to spin the bottle."

"We could play video games?"

I looked over at the TV, and of course Kenma was seated, with a controller in his hand. His movements were slow, but he was as competitive as ever. I shook my head, hearing the screams of spin the bottle.

"No, let's go upstairs. It's quiet up there." I didn't want to hear the noises right now, I needed to clear my head. Kyoutani nodded, then gently held my hand, leading me up the stairs.
