Hinata's POV:

I haven't talked to Kenma in awhile, even after how much I tried. I wanted to tell him he was still my friend, even though he cheated on my best friend. I never was able to get Kenma's side of the story, and Y/N wasn't the type to gossip or overexaggerate. In fact, they never talked about what happened, just merely said they were cheated on.

The car ride was silent as I drove. Kenma seemed like he was having a mental breakdown, something I saw with Y/N plenty of times and knew how to handle. I kept my space and didn't question anything.

We made it to the apartment, and I waited for Kenma to get out, but he didn't. He sniffled, before mumbling something in his hands. "Huh?"

He took his hands off, and I looked at him. He was exhausted, "Would you want to come in?"

I was taken back, but agreed. I parked and we both got out. The apartment was dark, and so was the street. He unlocked the door and pushed it open lightly. We walked in and closed the door behind us.

Kenma led me to his room and opened it, turning the lights on. My eyes widened at the sight. I thought his room was going to be trashed, but it was the complete opposite. It was cleaned, but that's not what surprised me the most. It was the fact that he had expensive products all over it. On the shelves were limited edition collectable items that I knew he wished to get but didn't have the money. Statues of his favorite video game characters stood, and I knew those were even more expensive.

I stood in awe, but more confusion. Kenma couldn't look at me, just ran his fingers through Phoenix's fur, who seemed to be groomed and absolutely beautiful. "Kenma.. How- How did you-"

"I'm sorry Hinata," he started to break down again. He looked up at me, tears streaming down his face, "I promise it wasn't my fault Hinata..."
