You finally sit down at the small table, next to Miss Rita on the left, Blobza is on the table in front of you sighing before waddling over to Wilblob and Blobinnit, who despite BlobBoyHalo yelling "LANGUAGE!!" At him repeatedly, kept cursing at Wilblob who was starting to look sick of it already.

Miss Rita sighs, yet- not in a tired or sad way, more like a way of longing.

You hesitate a bit before you ask a question that has been picking at you for a while.

"Do you- err- have any grandchildren Miss Rita?"  You try saying it cautiously, knowing not everyone has good responses to these kinds of questions.

"Oh-" she exclaims, a bit surprised at the question. "No- I don't have any dear." She replies quietly making  you afraid you may have said something wrong.

"I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have asked that question!"

She chuckles sadly, "it's alright dear- really it is." Miss Rita replies, gazing off out the window. Blobza gives up on separating Wilblob and Innit, looking over at Miss Rita concernedly.

"I'm afraid having grandkids is past my time." She says, but her words seem heavy with sorrow and sadness.

"Would you though? Have grandkids I mean."

"Of course I would, and I'd love them with everything in me, though in a way the blobs are a bit like that. They're all I really need."

You nod silently and turn away quiet in thought.

"Do you have a special somebody at least?"

"I did, yes." She twirls around an old ring on her finger, an old ring you hadn't noticed before, it was gonna gold and had one diamond in the middle, a simple wedding ring by the looks of it.

"Oh- I see..."

A few small seconds pass, Blobza slightly nudges Miss Rita's hand and she pets him lightly.

"He was a lovely man you know, a great husband. He would have been a great father too."

"May I ask- what did happen to him?"

Miss Rita looks down sadly again. "He had some heart issues and we found out he had Leukemia.... He wa sin the hospital for four months before he was finally freed."

"I'm- so sorry for your loss Miss Rita." You say to her.

"He passed away forty years ago, and the doctors made sure he wasn't in pain when it happened, I thank them for that much. They tried their best but sometimes-" she turns to you slightly. "-Sometimes, your best isn't always enough."

You all sit there silently, even the blobs had stopped fighting and remained quiet for, probably a record amount of time, considering it was Blobinnit and Wilblob.

Miss Rita shakes herself slightly, almost like shaking awake from a daze. "We can't change the past, so it's better to forgive then forget, plus- I'll see him again soon." She says smiling her light, airy smile.

The thought of losing her make stop feel sad, even though you haven't known her long, she's the closest thing to family you've had in a while, the blobs being a part of that with her.

"I of course still have a bit of time left, and I'd like to spend it here with you all." she says, looking around from you to the blobs at the table. At one point, little Michael had climbed up onto the table and hopped over to head-but  Miss Rita's arm gently and affectionately. She leans over bad gives him a small, motherly kiss on the head. One of a calming manor.

"I think we should start getting certain someone's ready for a bath now don't you think?" Miss Rita says calmly and sweetly, getting up from the table.

"Wait baths?" You ask confused.

"Why yes, it's about time the blobs got bathed again."

Ranblob squeaks surprised and scared, immediately teleporting out of the room, probably to go hide somewhere.

"This is gonna be a long day." You sigh to yourself, still half thinking about Miss Rita's words."

"Round up the blobs while I get the bath ready would you dearie?"

"On it!" You yell getting up and walking towards the door playroom, open the baby gate, and enter the arena.
