Chapter 13

The next morning Hermione woke up because Ginny let something fall. 
'Sorry.' Ginny said. 
'Doesn't matter, I had to get up though.' Hermione said smiling. 
'How are you?' Ginny asked. 
'I'm great.' Hermione said smiling. 
'What happened last night after you... ran away?' Ginny asked. 
'Well I first need to tell you something...' I said. 
'Well uhm.... Draco... I.... We are together.' I said blushing. 
'Really?' Ginny asked with a smile. 
Ginny already knew it but Hermione didn't know that so she had to do as if she didn't knew it. 
'Yes, and yesterday after I ran away he sat he loved me.' Hermione said. 
'Oh my gosh! That's so cute!' Ginny said. 
'It was amazing!' Hermione said smiling. 
Ginny and Hermione talked while they got dressed and when they walked downstairs to the Great Hall. 
'You know he changed a lot.' Hermione said. 
'Yes, I noticed.' Ginny said. 
'I'm so happy for you Hermione!' Ginny said smiling and they sat down on their usual places. 
They were already eating when Harry and Ron sat down on the other side of the table. 
'Good morning.' Harry said. 
'Good morning.' Hermione and Ginny said at the same time. 
'Hermione...' Ron started. 
'I'm going see you later.' Hermione said, she stood up and walked out of the Great Hall. 
Harry saw Draco standing up on the other side of the Great Hall and walking out of it. 
'I just wanted to say I'm really sorry.' Ron said. 
'Ron, I think you really screwed it up this time.' Ginny said. 
'Can't you two talk to her?' Ron asked. 
'I can try but I can't promise she'll forgive you.' Harry said. 
'Thank you.' Ron said.

Draco ran through the school towards the library. Then he saw Hermione walking a few metres in front of him. 
'Hermione.' Draco said and she turned around. 
She got a big smile on her face and waited for him. 
'Good morning, what's up?' Hermione asked. 
'Good morning, nothing much, where were you going?' Draco asked. 
'I think you already know that.' Hermione said laughing.  
'Shall I go with you?' Draco asked. 
'Yes sure.' Hermione said smiling. 
Draco smiled and packed her hand. They both walked towards the library. When they got there they both packed a book and sat down around a table in the corner of the library. Draco looked up from his book after a few minutes and stared at Hermione. She looked so beautiful. 
'What's wrong?' Hermione asked and she looked up at Draco. 
'Nothing, was just thinking.' Draco said smiling. 
'Why did you walk away?' Draco asked. 
'When?' Hermione asked. 
'A few minutes ago....' Draco said laughing. 
'Ron...' Hermione said. 
'What did he say?' Draco asked worried. 
'He started to say something and I didn't want to talk to him.' Hermione said. 
'Oh.' Draco said.
‘Are you going to try Quidditch?’Hermione asked.
‘I don’t know, I think I’ll just watch it.’ Draco said.
‘Are you sure? Maybe you’re going to regret it if you don’t try?’ Hermione said.
‘Do you want me to do it?’ Draco asked.
‘That’s your own decision.’ Hermione said.
‘Can’t you help me with that decision?’ Draco asked.
‘It’s a dangerous sport but I’ve seen you flying and you’re really great.’ Hermione said.
‘Thanks.’ Draco said smiling.
They stayed in the library until it was time to go to class. Hermione sat down next to Ginny and listened to the professor. The whole day she ignored Ron and when the classes were over Hermione went back to the library because she had work to do. She was reading a book when out of the sudden a shadow fell over the page she was reading. Hermione looked up and she saw it was Harry.
‘Hee Harry.’ Hermione said smiling.
‘Hee.’ Harry said and he sat down next to Hermione.
‘What’s wrong?’ Hermione asked.
‘I wanted to talk with you.’ Harry said.
‘Okay what is it?’ Hermione asked looking at Harry.
‘Malfoy, he changed a lot didn’t he?’ Harry asked.
‘Yes he did.’ Hermione said smiling.
‘So are you… are you and Malfoy together?’ Harry asked.
Hermione started to blush and she looked down at her book.
‘Yes we are.’ Hermione said.
‘Are you sure he won’t hurt you?’ Harry asked.
‘Yes I’m sure.’ Hermione said looking back at Harry.
‘Why are you asking?’ Hermione asked.
‘I just wanted to know if you were sure about it.’ Harry said.
‘I am.’ Hermione said.
Harry nodded.
‘And… someone really wants to talk to you.’ Harry said.
‘Who... nevermind I think I already know who it is.’ Hermione said.
‘You can listen to him, you know he didn’t mean to ruin it for you.’ Harry said.
‘Okay.’ Hermione said.
Harry smiled.
‘If you need me you can say it, we’re best friends.’ Harry said.
‘I know.’ Hermione said smiling.
She gave Harry a hug before he went away and she read further in her book.

Draco was on his way to the library, he had to do his work and he knew he could find Hermione there too. Draco bumped into Harry when he passed the corner.
‘Hee Malf… I mean Draco.’ Harry said.
‘Hello.’ Draco said.
‘I just talked with Hermione.’ Harry said.
‘Okay…’ Draco said wondering what he had to do with that information.
‘I’m happy for you two.’ Harry said with a little smile.
‘Thank you.’ Draco said smiling.
‘I hope you’re not going to hurt her because you know, as her best friend…’ Harry said.
‘You don’t have to worry about that, I won’t hurt her.’ Draco said.
Harry nodded.
‘I know we’re not friends but I hope we will be one day.’ Harry said and he reached out his hand.
Draco looked at it and packed it.
‘I hope so too.’ Draco said nodding.
‘I’ll see you around then.’ Harry said and he walked away.
Draco thought about what just happened. He said he hoped he would be friends with Potter. Though deep inside he wanted it, not only to make Hermione happy but also because he really wanted good friends. Friends who he could talk to about everything. Draco walked further and entered the library. He saw Hermione sitting behind a table, reading a book. Draco smiled and walked towards her.
