You are Bries daughter
Age: 5-7ish
Brie decided to have a little party to celebrate her win of best actress for room.
———————

You had only been looking for your mom for the past 10 minutes. You could faintly hear her voice. She was very busy greeting everyone again she had been for the past hour and a half.

"Do you know where my mommy is?" You asked the person closest to you.

"I'm right here sweet pea" your mom called from a few feet away overhearing your question

You quickly made your way to her hugging her legs tightly obviously everyone around you awed at the two of you. All the attention was on your mom anyway. It was her party.

But this only brought more tears to your every you were very overwhelmed and overstimulated by people wanting to talk to you or trying to steal you from your mom.

"Mama please" you almost begged only loud enough for her to hear

Her attention turned fully on you when she heard to obvious destress in your voice

"What is it peanut?" She asked lifting you into her arms. You emedatly nuzzled into her neck as she instinctively put her arms around you.

She thought maybe you only wanted to be in her arms so she continued to make small talk

With every person she talked to you became more reserved and hidden into her. Which was definitely out of character for you

"Excuse me a moment" she excused herself taking you upstairs into your room

"What's the matter?" She asked sitting you in your bed kneeling down in front of you

"Come on baby...it's just mama" she put some hair behind your ear. You stayed quiet. You felt overcome by your emotions. The feeling that she will be mad at you for being so anxious took over your head leaving you unable to formulate and answer for her at the moment.

"Are you hungry? Hmm...you wanna go sleepies? Does my girl need an early bedtime tonight?" She asked no longer worried about the people downstairs she was just focused on making sure her little one was alright

"I just want mama" you said bursting into tears

"No now don't cry babygirl...awe my baby" she cooed pulling you into a tight cuddle in her lap

"I know there's a lot of people here. I didn't know they would all show up" she apologized kissing your head

"What can I do to help you pumpkin" she asked desperate to calm you down.

She always hated when you cried. Ever since you were born. Except only then she could stop it. She couldn't really shove a boob into your mouth anymore.

"Sing" you whispered

She cradled you in her arms looking down at you. You loved when she sang.

Today is gonna be the day
That they're gonna throw it back to you

Your crys admittedly stoped.

By now you should've somehow
Realized what you gotta do

Your song. You were so quickly content at the sound of your mother's voice mixed with the sweet lyrics you have learned to love over your few short years of life

I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do about you now

She started to rock the two of you back and forth as you let your eyes fall shut.

Backbeat, the word is on the street
That the fire in your heart is out
I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt
I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do about you now

And all the roads we have to walk are winding
And all the lights that lead us there are blinding
There are many things that I
Would like to say to you but I don't know how

Brie watched from a above as you slipped your thumb into your mouth. You were always her little thumb sucker. It's brought her back that's for sure

—————

"Shhh my baby...calm down" she shhed 5 months old baby y/n

"BRIE PLEASE SHUT THAT THING UP" your father yelled (out who ever you want in I guess. Just make him an asshole)

"Please y/n" she started to cry herself

You wouldn't eat. You wouldn't sleep. She got desperate

Because maybe
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my wonderwall

She sang softly into your small ear

Today was gonna be the day
But they'll never throw it back to you
By now you should've somehow
Realized what you're not to do
I don't believe that anybody
Feels the way I do about you now

She continued seeing you enjoyed the song

When you stopped crying and opened your eyes to stare intently at her she smiled widely. She tried many songs after that all would make your small wailes continue. But never Wonderwall. You loved that song.
