waking up at 2pm on sunday would usually sound like the perfect thing, but pair that with only an hours sleep, and the constant knocking coming from the front door, eden couldn't be less pleased.

"yeah, yeah im coming chill out." an eyeroll came from the brunette who was still in her pyjamas, with wybie following behind like a shadow.

"what the fuck?"

she rubbed her eyes, hoping that this was all just her still sleeping, yet when she reopened them and was met with those green eyes, along with several others, she knew it wasn't anymore.

a laugh came from the group, "hey e." george spoke for them, waiting for the tired girl to respond.

although, when she tried to welcome them genuinely, it came out more as a question, "uh hi?"

karl and sapnap bent down to meet wybie, while george and dream stood in her doorway still, explaining their reasoning for showing up unexpectedly.

"brianna may or may not have told me that she thought you'd want some company while they were gone, so here we are."

and as much as eden loved her friends, she hated surprises just as much, which didn't help her already tired and semi-anxious state.

she moved to the side to allow the four men into the apartment, hugging them one by one as they entered, "right."

"im sorry, i know you probably weren't expecting this." clay mumbled as they hugged, the other three already preoccupied in the living room.

"its okay, i just need a second to wake up." she laughed, feeling the warmth leave her as she let go of the tall figure.

"i'll be in there." he nodded with a tight lipped smile, letting her wrap her head around what just happened in the past 5 minutes that she's been awake.
