"Hands off." Just when Baji decided to kiss me, Yuzuha yelled from behind him. He quickly removed his hands and stepped back. I don't know why she thought to follow me instead of ending up in a classroom, but I was glad she did.

"How pathetic of you to bully your own friend's sister!" Yuzuha shouted, and as much as I was thankful for her, the word sister attacked me.

Does everyone think we are siblings? But we aren't related at all, and Mr. Grandpa and Shinichiro have told me countless times that I am not adopted to be his sister.

"Oh, she is his sister?" Baji mockingly raised his brow. "He just has one sister, and who is as hot as he is? This thing is a burden." He scrunched his nose in revulsion, offending my nonexistent ego. I looked down and angrily yelled inside my mind.

Why can't I stand up for myself?

"If she is so appalling, why can't you keep your hands off of her?" Yuzuha, sure of herself and confident in her stance, yelped and marched in front of me to prevent me from Baji's foul lecherousness. I clutched her arm to draw attention to myself.

"This bullying needs to end today," she muttered as she switched to my direction, grasping my arm and pulling me as she briskly walked out of the scene and towards Mikey's classroom.

"No, Yuzuha, please, what are you doing?" I kept yammering behind her like a scared kitten. Mikey and his ex-girlfriend were in the same section, and I did not want to call her attention to me.

She invaded the classroom, tugging me along inaudibly. I wanted to count the eyes staring at us as we walked past the seated students.

"Mister Sano Manjiro!" Yuzuha announced loudly. Baji didn't follow us; why would he when he knew Yuzuha was going to confront Mikey with this whole bullying thing?

"Oh! I didn't know you would be missing me this bad." Mikey, unaware of the incident by the lockers, smirked as he always does.

"Save your cheeky comments." Yuzuha slammed the desk in front of him as her face hardened.

Everybody zeroed in on us as if we were performing in a circus. Ex-gf/r/n, who was Baji's twin, stared at Yuzuha and then at me; she wasn't slow-witted to not pick up Yuzuha; she was here for me.

"Woah! Did I do something wrong?" Mikey was in his football letterman jacket, looking gorgeous but confused too. I hate to drag him into the middle of this drama.

"Nope, that's the problem—that you didn't even do anything," Yuzuha argued, staring into his eyes confidently. How does she even do that? How the hell was she immune to his charms? I stayed put behind her with no courage to utter a word in my self-defense.

"And what exactly should I be doing?" he raised his brow; confusion was written all over his face. "And why is Y/N here with you?" he tilted his head to look at me and demanded eye contact, which I turned down due to the sole reason of drawing the whole class' attention.

I can still see my surroundings from the corner of my eyes, and my attention is kind of averted to Akashi Haruchiyo (sanzu), the silent and creepy guy. No one has ever seen him hanging out with anyone from school; he was always by himself and alone when he wasn't with his group of friends. But despite him keeping himself as low as he could, there were talks about his eyes. Everyone used to compare his eyes with Mikey's, but it was comprehensible; Mikey's eyes can be defined, but Sanzu's were too mysterious for anyone to elucidate them. He had his head down and his eyes up, staring at all this drama silently while others kept whispering and murmuring.

"Did you know your best friend Baji was bullying Y/n for months?" Yuzuha announced, this time pissing off Ex-gf/r/n too. She raised her brow and let out the breath she was holding back.

"Don't you dare put false accusations on my brother?!" the ex-gf/r/n, who had been eyeing Yuzuha for a long time, hindered by and by.

There was some kind of tension going on between these two girls, and it felt like the reason was Mikey, who had been constantly flirting with Yuzuha ever since he came back. I was kind of skeptical about Yuzuha's power over Mikey, but my simplicity in learning about behavior didn't let me be aware of it.

"Shut up, I'm not talking to you," Yuzuha snapped, making everyone gasp and Ex-gf/r/n's jaw meet the floor.

Ex-girlfriend/r/n has never been talked back to; most girls would love to chat with her, but Yuzuha was not the type to stay under someone's control. Plus, Money wanted to impress Mikey again, which wasn't happening because Yuzuha wasn't the right tool for that.

"Baji?" Mikey, who was having a hard time believing in all that, questioned himself. His eyes narrowed down at the floor as he zoned out for a hit.

"Tell him the truth, Y/N." Yuzuha folded her arms across her chest, convincing me to tell about Baji. My response was to sigh in fear. I couldn't do that.

"Yes, Y/n dear, tell him the truth that Yuzuha wants to ride Baji and she is pissed because he doesn't have a longing for her." Ex-gf/r/n, being a wicked person, used her persuasive, serene tone and raised her brow as she waited for me to agree with her. But she threatened me through her eyes. It was a moment where I had to decide my future; the consequences of going against these twins were going to get me. By the way, who would want to ride with a stupid person like Baji? I would ride a bike with no seat, but never that, Baji.

"That Clunker?" Yuzuha annoyingly yelled, and Mikey stared at her silently like there was more to the show than we were seeing. "Y/n, tell him." The confidence in Yuzuha's voice shattered once she found me standing behind her soundlessly.

A smile crept over Ex-gf/r/n's lip while Baji, for the first time, was watching my face with so much interest.

"See, I told you." Baji's twin clapped in sarcasm, making everyone boo at Yuzuha. I lowered my head, feeling the pressure. If I go against them, the whole school will be bullying me, but at least I will have my friend Yuzuha, who never once thought to back me up.

"Yuzuha is not lying. Baji has been harassing me for months," I finally announced loudly, crushing down Baji's twin expectations carelessly.

I had a crush on Mikey; I was afraid of bullying; but on top of all that, I loved Yuzuha more than anyone else. She has cared for me when everyone around me forgot about my existence.

"You wanted to hear the truth; now let's see how you serve justice." Yuzuha, with a smile of pride on her lips, mocked Mikey for his inability to go against his buddy, the same buddy who didn't respect Sano's family.

"They are doing it so they can manipulate you against us." Baji's twin, pushing her hair back, tried to argue with Mikey, who made a tight fist in anger and stormed out of the classroom in search of Baji. I tried to go after him, but Yuzuha caused me

"Look what you have done." Baji's twin, through her gritted teeth, whispered into her mouth to both of us.

"Your brother needed to be taught a lesson." Yuzuha did the same.

"Please, let's go now," I whispered in Yuzuha's ear, and we headed out of the class. I was thankful to her for helping me so much.

"Thanks, Yuzuha," I mumbled, walking behind her into my classroom.

"You are my friend; I will never let anyone mock you, Y/N." She stopped, turning around and placing her hand on my shoulder.

"The pause I took, I was scared, but I wasn't going to abandon you." I had to come clean to her, as in friendship, you are not supposed to keep secrets.

"I know, you don't have to explain it. I saw there that you are strong Y/N, but I just don't know what's keeping you from being you, the real you." She smiled weakly. She was right; I was hiding under my own shadow because I didn't want to piss off anyone.

For me, being in everyone's good book was important; I can't tolerate anyone calling me names or second-guessing my character. Also, I didn't want to hurt anyone around Mikey; I can't afford to lose him at any cost.

After school was over, Yuzuha and I went to the nearby coffee shop where all the students go after school and ordered a hot coffee. I needed it badly.

"I didn't see Mikey after that incident," I said, feeling bad for him. He was a popular jock, and if something happens regarding him, the news flashes faster than a disease. I didn't want him to be pictured as a coward for not helping his own family.

"I bet he---," Yuzuha halted in the middle of the sentence, "look who is here." She watched Mikey and Baji walking inside the coffee and marching towards us with Baji having a black eye.

"Y/n," Baji, who looked mad, muttered. "I wanted to apologize." He was being forced to do this, I can tell.

"It's fine," I mumbled, hoping that would end the drama.

"I don't want to see you near her again, you get that?" Mikey, who stopped Baji from walking by, threatened him. Baji turned his neck towards me to roughly look at us, but there was hate dripping from his eyes.

"I won't bother her again," Baji mumbled in his mouth. There was something odd about him at that moment. I had a strong feeling that he was going to strike back.

"You okay?" Mikey, after Baji left, smiled and questioned. Well, he blessed me with his attention; what else can I say about that day?

"Yes, I am." I lowered my head, my cheeks turning red as I blushed at his sexy voice.

"It's not like you did her some favor; you just did what you should have done before," Yuzuha, being a hot-headed girl, muttered.

"I didn't know that before." In his self-defense, that was the only thing he said. "Are you ready to go back home?" since he was going to drop us off, he asked.

"Yeah!" I nodded. "Yuzuha, I will head back home now." I said goodbye to Yuzuha and followed Mikey in the car.

As we were walking by, I saw girls staring at me and Mikey with jealousy in their eyes. I heard the girls calling me lucky for staying under the same roof as Mikey.

As we took our seats in the car, I felt like, after what happened, it was going to be a long drive home.
