y/n POV

Here I am again. Waiting in the shadows of the courtyard. He always keeps me waiting— such a pain. Oh, who's he you ask? Well, no other than Draco Malfoy.

We've been best friends since like— Year 2? We can basically talk to each other about anything really. But apparently, he can't be seen talking to "lower other houses" like me, a y/h, let-alone a muggle. We've been hanging out so discretely since forever I guess. Heck, I'm surprised nobody knows about our friendship.

He's such a douche... but there's something charming about him I think...

Draco POV

Shoot. Shoot. I kept her waiting again. Only if Crabbe and Goyle weren't so clingy and stupid. Whatever, got rid of them for now— gotta meet her while I can.

I don't like to keep her waiting, but why do I care so much? She's just an inferior y/h, and a muggle. I can feel my heartbeat getting faster the more I think about it-- well, the more that I think about her.

When I'm not with her but when I think about her I feel a lot of complex things that I can't explain, but when I am with her it feels as if I were dreaming on the clouds.

When did feelings get so... complicated... It doesn't feel like me but at the same time it feels like I'm at home.

Third-person POV

Draco usually tried to make time to meet y/n after school when he wasn't busy or had Crabbe and Goyle following him.

He always would put on his hood of his cloak and hid beneath its shadows whenever meeting with y/n. He even made her use a different name for him when calling him out in public.

Draco would be so embarrassed if people found out he was so casually hanging out with a girl from another house, especially a muggle.

Whenever Draco met eyes with y/n, he could always feel his face turning warm and red. He didn't want anyone, especially y/n to seem him like that— so his hood protected his flushed face as well.

y/n POV

"Foy—!" I call out to Draco as he looked my way, it was the name he told me to use when calling out to him in public. There were quite a few people scattered about the courtyard, but not too many so we shouldn't have to be so careful today.

To be honest, if I saw a Slytherin boy I didn't know the identify of and someone called him Foy, I'd think it would be an undercover Malfoy.
