"If they're trying a second round, it seems they learned from the first time around." (She looks.) "Get a look at this." Kodos informs Kang.

"Where is that red stuff coming from?" Kang asks.

"That's their ship blocking the sun, but why are they doing in England?" Kodos asks.

"STAY AWAY FROM THAT LOVEABLE SCOUSE, YOU'LL BE SORRY," Kang said.

"Are you..." Kodos said.

"It's why a whole-blown invasion is out of the question. There are some places best left alone," Kang said.

"Wait a minute... didn't that tricked work in one parallel Earth?" Kodos asks.

"Oh please, you think they would've known that one. If there is, we'll need to check out this portal and sent their Martian asses back into it." Kang said.

"Say, they must've done something on Mars in this realm. We should look into Mars to find something there," Kodos said.

"Good thinking, we still need to examine Earth. I'll have a small army to survey the area, and where did the red smoke come from." Kang said.

As Kang and Kodos began to launch an investigation on the matter on what the Martians were up, or at least what kind. They would like to found someone on Mars they can speak with, knowing there were many factions on Mars. Still, it was something they couldn't just sweep under the rug, but they could have some allies on stopping this invasion. Back in Springfield, people go about their day, trying to figure out what was going on. Homer and the crew were at a lunch break, talking about what was going on with the skies.

"Hey Homer, how're the kids?" Carl asked.

"Well, Marge is getting upset with the school's redemption program. If you ask me, it's more like a hell-hole." Homer said.

"Yeah, I heard about that. How is the school getting around it?" Lenny asks.

"Yeah, what happened to the days you tell your boy to be a man and fight?" Homer asks.

"Those days are gone, today they are just subjected to being yelled at. I heard in the medieval era they dropped piss-poor wine on you for being a bad innkeeper." Lenny said.

"Good thing Moe doesn't have to deal with that," Carl said.

"Yeah, we got Barney for that," Homer said.

"Say, has anyone else noticed the skies on a blood-red?" Charlie asked, passing by.

"Yeah, what gives?" Homer asks.

"Is there some kind of fire going on?" Carl asks.

"Any idea where it's coming from?" Charlie asks in a panic.

"Not at the plant, I checked. It's even a fire or a chain-smoking convention," Homer said.

"I better inform..." Charlie said.

"No need, it's not from the plant and Burns had already called the police," Smithers said, walking by.

At the police station...

"Another one, hey Lou, Eddie, get a load of this," Chief Wiggum said.

"Is it about the red skies?" Eddie asks.

"How are you know?"Chief Wiggum asks.

"We have been getting calls about it all day. Saw it for ourselves." Lou said.

Chief Wiggum outside his window.

"Whoa, something is happening, even the regulars have stopped." Chief Wiggum said.

Cut to Kwik-E-Mart parking lot

"Whoa, what is with the skies?" Snake wondered.

Inside

"How much longer is he going to stand there?" Apu asks.

Back to the station

"I don't know. Something as to be up when someone like Mr. Burns calls in with a complaint." Lou said.

At the Simpsons House

"Hmm, look at the skies. I wonder where they're red instead of blue." Marge said.

Marge turns on the TV, it was on the news.

"This is Kent Brockman with today's story. Why are the skies red? That's the question Springfield is demanding the answers from locals on what can be the cause of the skies' new shade. We go Arnie in the sky." Kent said.

TV cuts to Arnie

"I'm getting a closer look at the skies and doesn't appear to be any from Springfield, given the traffic stall thanks to this mess."

TV cuts back to the station

"Seems scary..." Kent said.

Back to Marge

Marge looks out the windows, waiting for her family to come back home to tell them about what she was looking at. It wasn't clear what was going on. Many have been asking themselves what was going on as even Mayor Quimby was also asking questions. Some are starting to take matters as a sign of god, while others are trying to answer. At the same time, a strange figure walks among grounds in a rural area, where the Spuckler family lives. Cletus first notices this, trying to wonder if the figure was some kind of spy for the government. His family would be the first to provide the first clues.
