A really cool way to make your story better, is to play around with emotions and reactions to things.

One really strong situation is when the character cries or breaks down, and as an author you can use this to your advantage!

[This information is also just a good tool to understand others better]

So here's some different reason, a person could cry (other than just plain being sad)

-They feel acknowledged and validated by someone, and they can finally put their walls down

-The character(s) experience a sensory overload

-Their walls have simply been put up for too long and they can't stay strong anymore

-They've been compressing their feelings for too long

-They can deeply relate to someone else's situation

-The characters mental state has been uncared for

-Another character was kind and they are really thankful
