“Doc, nabagok ba ng sobra ang ulo nya noong nabangga sya ng Truck? Bakit nya tinatanong kung nasa Earth sya?” bulong ng isang nurse sa kasama nitong doktor

Hindi tumugon ang doktor, sa halip ay tinanong nito si Leona.

“Do you not remember what happened? Do you remember your name?” A doctor inquired

“My name is Leona.”

“That’s not the name on your ID, Ms Dawn Rodrigo.”

Leona is pretty sure that Dawn Rodrigo is the name on her fake ID on the day she died on Earth.

So what is happening right now?

Was her life as Leona a dream?

Or is this a dream?

The numbness and pain from her bedsore is so real, so how can this be a dream?

She dialled a familiar number on the phone that she borrowed on one of the kind nurses.

It immediately got connected.

“Lagi, come pick me up.” Leona commanded

“Boss, are you on crack? My name is Bob, who’s Lagi?”

Leona felt confuse, wasn’t Lagi her right hand man on the Legion?

Wait... What Legion?

Isn’t she the leader of an assassin group called Daggers?

“Boss, are you alright? You’ve been missing for seven months and now you’re talking strangely.” Bob

“I think I hit my head too badly. Tsk, Just come pick me up. I’ll send you the location.” Leona

“Copy.” Bob

She texted him the address of the hospital and then proceeded on deleting their conversation including the call history.

She is a wanted assassin. She must erase her traces.

“Why do I feel like I’m forgetting something.... or someone..?” tanong nya sa sarili

Pero kahit anong pilit, hindi nya maalala kung ano ito.

Hindi makapaniwala ang mga doktor noong sabihin nya na lalabas na sya ng hospital.

She just woke up from a coma. She needs to undergo a rehabilitation program to completely recover.

But she’s a tough nut to crack. Her stubbornness is no joke. Leona insisted on leaving.

When her men who look like goons and gangsters showed up to pick her up, the hospital couldn’t do anything but let her go after settling the bill.

“Where to Boss?” Bob asked as he drive the car

“I want some coffee.” Leona

“No problem Boss. There’s a nearby cafe here.” Bob

Leona only nod. And Bob drove towards the cafe silently.
