I let out a soft giggle and go to Aaron.

"You look perfect" he whispers.

I blush "I tried"

"you don't have to" Aaron smiles.

I smile back "Finally it's here"

"Finally it's here" he repeats.

"okay! Girls, line up at the bottom of the stairs" mom calls and takes my hand to pull me to the stairs. I stand in the center with Crystal on my right and Lenia~Chan on my left.

Mom takes a few pictures.

"Now with the dates" dad smiles.

They are trying so hard, it makes me happy.

The guys step up and stand next to us. I take Aaron's arm and put it around my waist.

He startles slightly and looks at me.

I smile. You are my true North Aaron. I hope you know that.

The picture is taken and we head out "Stay safe you kids" Dad calls.

"We will" I give my parents one last hug before I go with my friends.

We get into the car and I lace my hand with Aaron's.

He makes me feel safe.

At prom

Aaron helps me out of the car and the six of us head to the front.

We give them our tickets and I rest my head on Aaron's shoulder as we get everything ready.

Soon enough we are let in.

"What exactly are we supposed to do here?" I ask Aaron.

He chuckles softly "Dance, have fun" he smiles "be happy"

Little do you know "I am happy" with you.

He smiles brighter and offers his hand "may I have this first dance with the most beautiful woman in this room?"

I blush and takes it. "yes."

We dance for that song and many, many others and we decide to take a break after a while of just having fun.

"You know you look stunning right?"

I giggle "I know"

He smiles. I notice his hair is at a good length to mess with.

I get an idea and get up on my toes to floof his hair around.

He chuckles and I smile brightly.

He slips his arms around my waist. Our faces just a few inches apart.

My heartbeat starts racing.

I try not to look Aaron directly in the eyes in case of something happening.

Aaron tilts my chin up and our eyes meet.

"You have such beautiful eyes, they sparkle so bright just like the sparkle on waves in the ocean"

I giggle softly "you think so?"

Aaron nods "I do. I always have"

I hug him and bury my face in his shoulder. You make me feel safe. You make me feel like I don't have to worry about my eyes or any of the problems I have.
