Jace's POV
I have feelings for Teresa and a little for Cathy.
"Jace you idiot" Cathy smacked the back of my head "Umm yeah OWW" I yelled at the last part
"Why'd you do that this morning?" She asked with an angry look.
"I like another girl" I said to them
"Why? Do you know that she cried? Oh wait no you were too stupid to know" Cathy yelled again.
"Well I didn't kn- wait Leah cried?" I asked her getting worried
"Yeah" she said sarcastically
"Oh Leah told me to say happy birthday to you" she said with a disappointed look on her face.
"Thanks" I muttered, I walked to Leah's locker and she was standing there. "Hey Leah" I exclaimed
"Hey Jace" she said her voice cracking a little.
"So why'd you slammed your locker when I was here this morning?" I asked, She shrugged and slammed her locker again.
"You did it again" I told her "I'm not in a good mood right now" she said
"Well can you please look at me" I said pulling her wrist. She winced in pain I let go and looked at my hands.
They were........bloody
"I told you to stop" I said to her tears forming on her eyes.
"And i didn't want to listen" she said crying "Leah please" I begged her
"JACE STOP" she yelled
everyone had their eyes on us.
"Just stop worrying" she said wiping her tears smiling "I'm coming with you" I exclaimed "Fine" was all she said
We walked to the cafeteria and I heard her singing
"Can I lay by your side.....next to you
And make sure your alright... I'll take care of you" She sang her voice is so beautiful "You have a beautiful voice" I said but stop when I realized what I just said.
"I'm sorry it came out wro-" she cut me off "It's okay Jace" She said smiling
Just then Chris ran to us looks like he was......crying?
"Leah...Jace....Mom....Car" He was panting "What do you mean?" She asked looking worried
"Mom got into a car crash" He said hugging Leah, she froze but then she break down crying.
She had her head on her knees and her arms around her legs, I sat next to her and hugged her.
"I can't loose anyone anymore not even you" She said to me
"You won't loose any of us sissy" Chris said sitting next to her.
"I can't take this anymore, can't I just have one thing and that is to die and meet my dad" she said "Leah don't say that!" I said to her.
"Why do we keep on believing that people that we care so much will live forever, if they actually die young?"
